摘要: There are provided a control circuit of a DC-DC converter of a synchronous rectification system which can realize rapid lowering of an output voltage with low power consumption at the stop of power supply, and a control method thereof. While a power supply stop signal is at low level, a control part controls an NMOS transistor according to the output signals of a comparator and a flip-flop circuit. While the power supply stop signal is at high level, the control part masks a reverse current detection signal and the output signal of the flip-flop circuit to control the NMOS transistor according to a detection signal of a comparator. When a choke coil current is reversely flowed and an output voltage is lowered to an output reference voltage corresponding to a reference voltage, the NMOS transistor is brought to the non-conductive state to regenerate the electric power to an input terminal.

摘要: When both of step-up PWM control and step-down PWM control are executed, offset of ON/OFF switching timing for step-up PWM control and/or offset of ON/OFF switching timing for step-down PWM control is changed so that the offset of ON/OFF switching timing for step-up PWM control and the offset of ON/OFF switching timing for step-down PWM control become identical. By synchronizing ON/OFF switching timing for step-up PWM control and ON/OFF switching timing for step-down PWM control, the loss on switching can be reduced.

摘要: In an input transistor of current mirror circuit, it is intended to prevent the current generated by Early effects from appearing in the output current of the current mirror circuit. Having an Early voltage detector 22 of same connection and structure as a driver circuit 21, and connected in parallel to the driver circuit 21, the current flowing in input transistor Q9 of the Early voltage detector 22 is detected. Output current (current IQ11) of Early voltage detector 22 is added to input current (current IQ5) of driver circuit 21. As a result, in input current (current IQ7) of current mirror circuit 25, current α due to Early voltage effects can be canceled. At the same time, current α due to Early voltage effects generated in input transistor Q5 of current mirror circuit 25 is prevented from appearing in output current (current IQ8) of current mirror circuit 25.

摘要: A DC-DC converter for controlling the order for providing a semiconductor integrated circuit device with a plurality of power supply voltages. A switch control circuit controls activation and inactivation of a transistor of the switch circuit based on the comparison result of a first voltage and a reference voltage and a notification signal provided to the switch control circuit. The switch control circuit generates a second voltage that is higher than the first voltage when the first voltage is higher than the reference voltage and the notification signal indicates that other semiconductor integrated circuit devices are ready to operate.
