When an open fault has occurred in the smoothing capacitors 3, the control unit 5 limits the electric current flowing through the electric motor 2 by controlling the operation of the plurality of switching elements 40u to 40w, 41u to 41w.

摘要: There is provided a reference voltage generator for providing an adaptive voltage. The reference voltage generator includes a steady current source and a PMOS transistor and an NMOS transistor cascaded to each other. A reference voltage provided by the reference voltage generator is determined by gate-source voltages of the PMOS transistor and the NMOS transistor. As said gate-source voltages vary with the temperature and manufacturing process, the reference voltage forms a self-adaptive voltage.

The controller may dynamically adjust a bus voltage set point of a bus voltage on the output of the DC to DC converter up or down to prepare for supply of the bus voltage and energy stored in the capacitor to an anticipated load event. The load event may have a load step change that occurs in less than five milliseconds and is greater than about eighty or eighty-five percent of a rated output of the DC to DC converter.

摘要: A flyback converter includes a primary-side switch connected to a primary-side winding of a magnetic device and a secondary-side switch connected to a secondary-side winding of the magnetic device. The flyback converter is operated by controlling the primary-side switch to store energy in the magnetic device during ON periods of the primary-side switch, switching on the secondary-side switch synchronously with switching off the primary-side switch to transfer energy from the magnetic device to the secondary side, determining an off time of the secondary-side switch based on a reflected input voltage measured at the secondary-side winding when the primary-side switch is on, accounting for a settling time of the reflected input voltage when determining the off time of the secondary-side switch so that the settling time has little or no effect on the off time, and switching off the secondary-side switch based on the off time.

A feedback reference circuit generates a drive signal in response to the feedback signal and the drive signal is used to control switching of a power switch of the power converter to regulate the output voltage. The regulator further includes a gm stage to generate the current set point voltage based at least in part on the output voltage, a comparator to compare a voltage from the current-sense low pass filters to the current set point voltage and a current set point adjustment circuit to provide an auxiliary control signal to decrease the current set point voltage responsive to a change in comparator output and then to increase the current set point voltage responsive to another change in comparator output.

摘要: A method for estimating a fundamental component of an AC voltage includes receiving a timely varying measurement signal of the AC voltage; parametrizing a fundamental component of the AC voltage; and determining parameters of the fundamental component based on minimizing a cost function. The fundamental component has a rated frequency, a variable amplitude and a variable phase shift. The cost function is based on an integral of a norm of a difference between the measurement signal and the parametrized fundamental component via a time horizon. The time horizon starts at an actual time point and goes back via a predefined length. The cost function includes a term based on a norm of the difference between a value of the fundamental component at the actual time point and a value of a previously estimated fundamental component at the actual time point, where the previously estimated fundamental component has been determined for a previous time point.
