摘要: In one embodiment, a transistor driver includes a first line as a power supply line configured to supply a first voltage, a second line as a power supply line configured to supply a second voltage, and a first controlling transistor provided between the first line and the second line and configured to control a gate voltage of a first transistor to be driven. The driver further includes a third line configured to supply a third voltage that controls a gate voltage of the first controlling transistor, and a power supply circuit connected to the first, second and third lines and configured to vary the third voltage. The driver further includes a depletion P-type transistor including a gate connected to the first line, a drain connected to the second line, and a source connected to the third line.

摘要: A controller for use in a power converter comprising a feedback reference circuit coupled to receive a feedback signal representative of an output voltage of the power converter. A feedback reference circuit generates a drive signal in response to the feedback signal and the drive signal is used to control switching of a power switch of the power converter to regulate the output voltage. The controller further comprises an output power control circuit coupled to receive a current sense signal representative of an output current of the power converter and a power signal representative of a desired value of an output power of the power converter. The output power control circuit generates an adjust signal to adjust the feedback signal such that the controller modifies the output voltage to regulate to the desired value of the output power.

摘要: A multiphase power regulator includes a plurality of phases coupled in parallel to provide a load current as a combination of phase currents at an output voltage, each phase including at least one power transistor switched to provide a respective phase current based at least in part on a comparator output signal, and a current-sense low pass filter to sense the phase current. The regulator further includes a gm stage to generate the current set point voltage based at least in part on the output voltage, a comparator to compare a voltage from the current-sense low pass filters to the current set point voltage and a current set point adjustment circuit to provide an auxiliary control signal to decrease the current set point voltage responsive to a change in comparator output and then to increase the current set point voltage responsive to another change in comparator output.

摘要: A method for estimating a fundamental component of an AC voltage includes receiving a timely varying measurement signal of the AC voltage; parametrizing a fundamental component of the AC voltage; and determining parameters of the fundamental component based on minimizing a cost function. The fundamental component has a rated frequency, a variable amplitude and a variable phase shift. The cost function is based on an integral of a norm of a difference between the measurement signal and the parametrized fundamental component via a time horizon. The time horizon starts at an actual time point and goes back via a predefined length. The cost function includes a term based on a norm of the difference between a value of the fundamental component at the actual time point and a value of a previously estimated fundamental component at the actual time point, where the previously estimated fundamental component has been determined for a previous time point.
