摘要: A problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a motor controller capable of enhancing the safety of a crane, or the like, by accurately detecting a control deviant state within a short period of time by means of simple computation using the amount of control of a motor. According to the present invention, a voltage and a current of an AC motor are controlled by subjecting the voltage and current to coordinate transformation along two axes “d” and “q,” and detects occurrence of a control deviant state from “d” and “q” components of the voltage or current. A control deviant state is determined to have arisen when a value—which is computed on the basis of θi=tan−1(Iq/Id) through use of an excitation current feedback value Id which is the “d” component of the electric current and the torque current feedback value Iq which is the q component—has attained a predetermined value or more.

摘要: A disc drive device optimally controls a speed for reading RTR-format data, such as video and audio, recorded on a DVD-format disc, thereby enabling real-time playback without interruption. In the disc drive device, information added to each sector is used for determining whether data is RTR-format data. When an error occurs at high-speed reading of RTR-format data and therefore the reading speed is changed to a low speed, the reading speed is so controlled as to be kept at the low speed for reading the following RTR-format data. Thus, for RTR-format data, overhead due to repetitive acceleration and deceleration processes can be avoided, and reading can be carried out without interfering with real-time playback. For normal data, reading can be carried out in a manner similar to that in the background art.

摘要: An image forming apparatus includes a photoreceptor allowing an electrostatic latent image to be formed by light exposure, a light source emitting light beams, a light deflecting device for deflecting light beams from the light source, an exposure controlling device for controlling deflecting actions of the deflecting device, and an image-forming optical device receiving light beams deflected by the light deflecting device and image-forming the light beams on the photoreceptor so as to create a latent image composed of a plurality of pixels thereon. In the configuration, the light deflecting device includes a micro-mirror array device which is composed of a multiple number of mirror facet elements arranged matrix-wise, in two-dimensions, and which is disposed so that each row of the mirror facet elements extends in parallel with the rotating axis of the photoreceptor and normals of the mirror facet elements are substantially perpendicular to the rotating axis of the photoreceptor. Each of the mirror facet elements in a single column can individually be controlled to be oriented at any angle to simultaneously deflect light to the same location on the photoreceptor to vary density of the image formed thereon.

摘要: An object-oriented system which deals with data and procedure integrally includes a memory having a real memory space which contains a set of object management information, a set of page management information, a fixed page region and an unfixed page region, a memory management section for managing these parts, a swap file for saving pages, and a method execution section which executes the procedure of an object. When loading the object into the real memory space, address-unfixed pages in the unfixed page region are allotted to the object and address-fixed pages in the fixed page region are allotted to the object at the time of execution. Consequently, the object can be accessed directly based on the physical address. The garbage collection and page swapping processes are implemented only for address-unfixed pages, and the overhead of object access operation can be reduced.

摘要: A process of debinding a ceramic product utilizes a furnace for heating the ceramic product therein in the presence of a surrounding gas so as to remove an organic binder contained in the ceramic product. The ceramic product is continuously heated to an elevated temperature during which the organic binder is decomposed to generate a cracked gas. The process monitors the condition of the cracked gas and controls, depending upon the monitored condition, to vary a temperature gradient at which the ceramic product is heated and at the same time to vary an amount of the surrounding gas being supplied to the furnace in such a manner as to remove the organic binder successfully from within the ceramic product without leaving any unacceptable defect therein.

摘要: A pair of deflection electrodes at least one of which is grooved are provided to confront with each other in an ink jet system printer in order to deflect charged ink droplets emitted from a nozzle as they pass through a high voltage electric field established therebetween. Objectionable ink mist, which is unavoidably formed and diffused in various directions after the ink droplets impinge upon a recording paper or a beam gutter, attached to the grooved deflection electrode gathers and forms an ink drop, which is collected in an indent formed in the grooved deflection electrode. This precludes erroneous breaking down of the system and ensures stability of the high voltage electric field established between the pair of deflection electrodes.
