    摘要： An elastic ring is disposed between a grip case and a trunk which is formed on an inner case of a body case to which a toothbrush head is mounted. As a result, the vibration of a motor which is contained in a motor accommodation portion of the inner case is less likely to be transmitted to the grip because of the elastic ring, and is transmitted to the toothbrush head side in a concentrated manner. Also, the tooth cleaning performance is increased, and vibration to the hand which grips the grip case is reduced to enable the user to comfortably brush the teeth.

In a space within the cylindrical brush attachment shaft tube is disposed a motor to which an eccentric weight generating vibration is attached. Therefore, it is possible for the tip of the toothbrush head to approach the main body case side by the length of the cylindrical brush attachment shaft tube, thereby shortening the total length of an electric toothbrush.

    摘要： An electronic book display control device capable of solving the problem of a conventional page turning method of an electronic book device that pages are turned in accordance with a value predetermined by a speed controller and hence it is difficult to turn pages flexibly in accordance with the contents of the book and the characteristics of the user. The control device is provided with a CPU (1) which controls the whole device, an image data storage unit (2) in which the contents of the book are stored as image data, an image data control unit (3) which receives the image data and performs the required control, a display preparation image data memory unit (4) in which image data of the page being displayed and the page to be displayed next are stored, and a display unit (5) on which information concerning the image data and information concerning the operation of the electronic book are displayed. The data displayed on the display unit at a specific time in a page turning period are stored in a page turning data memory unit (9) and the column information of the page turning data is stored in a column information storage table (10). In accordance with the column information, the address of the display preparation image data memory unit (4) and the image data on the page being displayed and the page to be displayed next are selected by a display changeover control unit (11).

    摘要： A picture processing apparatus which can reduce matching errors and shorten a processing time for matching. In the picture processing apparatus, a binarization circuit individually binarizes a pair of object picture signals to generate line picture signals. A feature point extract circuit extracts a plurality of feature point pixels for each reference area in the reference side line picture. A transforming circuit widens a line width of the search side line picture. A correlation computation circuit, for each reference area, finds a correlation between each pixel within a search area in the line picture whose line width has been widened and the feature point pixels. A composition processing section composites the pair of object picture signals based on the correlations. A picture processing apparatus which can adjust density and color tone of two pictures to be composited. At first, the picture processing apparatus finds overlapping areas of the two pictures to be processed and finds typical values typifying distributions of density values of pixels in the overlapping area of each picture, respectively. Next, it adjusts overall lightness of the two pictures by multiplying the density value of each pixel of one picture by a ratio of the typical value of the other picture to the typical value of one picture.

    摘要： It is possible to clearly extract objects such as characters and line figures by eliminating the effect of shading from an input image containing self-shaded objects and/or vaguely contoured objects together with distinctly contoured object and thereby to extract all objects clearly and completely. A sample point setting portion sets sample points, a sample point shade calculating portion determines an optical density of shading at each sample point according to an optical density distribution of pixels in a reference block including the sample point at the center thereof. A shade calculating portion determines shade densities at the other points than the sample points and generates shade image, a shade removing portion generates a shade-removed image by removing the shading effect from the input image by using the shade image. A quantizing portion binarizes the shade-removed image and an image output portion outputs the obtained binary image.
