    摘要: In order to enable hierarchized resource-managing functions to mutually request processing and maintain the uniqueness of processing performed by each of the resource-managing functions, a process is performed as follows. When a first action request is inputted, an action-handler search unit analyzes the request condition indicated in the first action request, and searches an action-handler table for an action handler corresponding to the request condition. An action execution unit starts the action handler detected by the action-handler search unit and performs processing defined in the started action handler. In the case where all or part of the processing requested by the first action request is not performed by the action execution unit, the action execution unit produces and transmits a second action request indicating a request condition of all or the part of the processing in a common data form.

    摘要: A superscaler processor capable of executing multiple instructions concurrently. The processor includes a program counter which identifies instructions for execution by multiple execution units. Further included is a register file made up of multiple register window pointer selects one of the multiple register windows. In response to the value of the current window pointer, a return prediction table provides a speculative program counter value, indicative of a return address of an instruction for a subroutine, corresponding to the selected register window. A watchpoint register stores the speculative program counter value. A fetch program counter, in response to the speculative program counter value, stores the instructions for execution after they have been identified by the program counter.

    摘要: In a typical operating system, one-third of a program consists of branch instructions. This means a performance of a processor of a typical operating system depends greatly on whether or not an instruction before and after a branch instruction can be executed in parallel. In order to provide a high performance processor with parallel processing, provided is a structure with a plurality of operating units and a plurality of registers where a set of registers are specified with the same address. A selection sequence of registers is stored by a plurality of selection sequence storages. Contents of registers are determined or not depending on the information stored in a plurality of determination identification storages. A register is specified by a register selector according to the contents of the selection sequence storages. This register selector is also used to update the contents of the selection sequence storages. The contents of the determination identification storages are rewritten by a determination identifier when the contents of a register proves to be a correct result.

    摘要: A speaker unit intended for mounting on the rear deck panel of a hatchback automobile which provides easy mounting of two speakers with a fixed predetermined distance therebetween. The two speakers are fixed to a front grille which covers their front portions but which does not extend sufficiently high to obstruct the driver's vision to the rear of the vehicle. Each of the speakers extends through an aperture through the rear deck panel. A single enclosure is mounted below the speakers, fixed to the grille frame with screws or the like. Guide portions integral with the enclosure and which mate with the rear ends of the speakers determine the relative positions of the speakers, grille frame and enclosure.
