    Abstract: An article movement detection system includes a first sensor and a second sensor disposed facing a movement path of an article and is capable of individually detecting that the article has moved, and a detection unit detecting movement of the article on the basis of a first output being output from the first sensor and a second output being output from the second sensor. The first sensor and the second sensor are disposed at different positions in a moving direction of the article, and a first detection signal and a second detection signal are output with a time lag therebetween. The detection unit detects movement of the article on the basis of the first detection signal and the second detection signal.

    Abstract: Provided is a boxing apparatus that may repeatedly push products packaged in a soft packaging material into a box through a lateral opening and to pack the products in a plurality of rows, wherein product-filled rate may be easily enhanced without damaging the products. A boxing apparatus 10 may pack a plurality of rows of bagged products into a box. The boxing apparatus may be provided with a push-in mechanism 50, a shutter, a vertical movement mechanism, and a controller 41. The push-in mechanism may push the products into the box through a lateral opening in the box. The shutter may enter and exit the box through the opening. The vertical movement mechanism may move the box and the shutter up and down relative to each other.

    Abstract: A form-fill-seal machine is configured to adjust for changes in the thickness of bags within a short time, and is provided with seal jaws, gas removal members, an air cylinder, and a control unit. The seal jaws transverse-seal a cylindrical film in a widthwise direction forming a bag. The gas removal members come into contact against the bag prior to transverse sealing of an upper edge part, discharging a gas upward from the bag. The air cylinder moves the gas removal members, switching the position of the gas removal members between a first position and a second position with respect to the seal jaws. The control unit, in a time slot just prior to the start of a transverse sealing action performed by the seal jaws, changes the timing of switching between the first position and the second position, and adjusts the amount of gas discharged from the bag.
