摘要: A liquid or fluid cooled housing of a rotary piston internal combustion engine of trochoidal type of construction consisting of side parts and a dual-arc housing inner surfacing and having an eccentric shaft passing through the side parts. A triangular piston rotates upon an eccentric mounted on the eccentric shaft and corners of the triangular piston are in sliding engagement along the housing inner surfacing. A connection tube is provided supplying cooling medium into the individual housing sections. A series connection of the cooling medium circulation is produced between a first side part in direction of cooling medium flow and a first housing part as well as between a center part and a second housing part respectively having a closure disc installed therewith. Perforations are provided for pressure equalization in the closure discs. For production of a parallel connection of cooling medium circulation between a first side disc in a direction of cooling medium flow and a first housing part there is installed a shutter and further shutters are provided between the first housing part and a center part as well as between the center part and a second housing part in flow direction and between a second housing part and a second side part. Parts are interchangeable irrespective of series and parallel cooling medium circulation. A by-pass for cooling of an eccentric shaft and eccentric bearings thereof branches off independently of series or parallel connection of the cooling medium circulation.

摘要: A rotary piston compressor with a dual-arc trochoidal casing surface runway or path. The corners of a piston having three flanks or sides and rotating on an eccentric of an eccentric shaft are provided with radial sealing strips which are in continuous sliding contact with the runway. Overflow or transfer recesses are provided in a housing via which the already closed-off following or trailing working chamber, which is created in the region of the dead center position, is connected briefly with the preceding compression chamber. The leading corners of each of three flanks of the piston are bevelled or chamfered radially inwardly and toward the grooves of the radial sealing strips. The leading corners of each of the three flanks of the piston are cut off in planes which intersect in a straight line that lies in the radial central plane of the piston externally of the piston, and at right angles to a straight line which extends in the radial central plane of the piston through the axis of rotation of the piston, and through the sealing strip, which passes through the planes.

摘要: An external axis rotary piston compressor having a housing formed with at least two overlapping, parallel-axis cylindrical inner chambers each having a shaft passing therethrough. On the one shaft there is a cylindrical working rotor forming an annular working chamber with the housing wall surrounding the same, and including a shutoff tooth or projection. On the other shaft, which rotates counter thereto, there is provided a cylindrical shutoff rotor which runs along the housing wall and rides on the working rotor; this shutoff rotor includes a recess for engagement-free passage of the shutoff tooth or projection therethrough. The body of the working rotor is a hollow cylinder; when the hollow cylinder rotates, a port or control opening provided in the shutoff tooth or projection coincides with a further port or control opening located in a stationary sleeve arranged in the hollow cylinder, which is mounted in a first side part of the housing and is rigidly and coaxially connected with the drive shaft mounted in the other side part. An inlet opening is provided for the working gas into the suction chamber in the rearward side of the hollow shut-off tooth or projection as seen in the direction of rotation of the working rotor. An outlet passage extending essentially tangential to the direction of movement of the working rotor conveys working gas.

摘要: A pressure valve, especially for rotary piston compressors, which includes a valve housing in the form of a cylindrical sleeve which latter has circumferential through-flow openings or slots which from the inside of the sleeve are covered by a valve closure member comprising resilient lamellae. The valve closure member comprises a pre-bent pre-loaded lattice or grate-shaped metal sheet with parallel longitudinal strips forming the resilient lamellae the ends of which are respectively interconnected by two rim strips. These rim strips rest against both sides of an abutment or counter bearing located opposite the through-flow openings. In the closing position of the valve, the valve closure member tightly engages that inner surface of the sleeve which surrounds the through-flow opening or openings in the sleeve, whereas in the open position of the valve the valve closure member rests against two nearly diametrically oppositely located areas of the inner wall of the sleeve.

摘要: The specification describes a rotary piston compressor with a double-arcuate trochoidal casing track, with which a triangular piston, rotating on an eccentric shaft, makes constant sliding contact at its corners. Transfer flow pockets are provided via which the following working chamber already shuts off, and in the vicinity of the dead center position, is connected for a short time with the compression chamber coming in front of it. The transfer flow recesses are provided in at least one side part of the compressor, extend under its housing casing and extend so far inwards radially in its side wall that they are not swept by the sealing strip. Their timing edge, lying to the fore in the direction of rotation of the piston, is determined by the position of the preceding piston corner of the chamber located in the dead center position. Their timing edge, which is to the rear in the direction of rotation of the piston, is determined by the position of the same piston corner at the time of uncovering the inlet port following this preceding chamber.

摘要: A delivery valve, especially for a rotary piston compressor, which valve is adapted to be inserted into an opening provided in the compressor housing and extending substantially parallel to the axis of the compressor housing. The compressor housing has a bore in which is fitted a sleeve which has tangentially directed valve slots and forms a valve seat. The sleeve surrounds a member which over its entire length has an approximately horseshoe shape. That portion of the horseshoe shaped part which is located opposite the open side thereof faces toward the valve slots and has a greater bending radius than the sleeve. The free ends of the horseshoe shaped part which define the open side of the horseshoe shaped part are bent back toward the outside of this part while the lateral flanks of the horseshoe part bear against the sleeve. The flanks of the horseshoe shaped part have tangentially directed lateral perforations in which are guided parallel strip-shaped cutouts or tongues of a resilient sheet metal the marginal portions of which are clamped into the bent back portions of the horseshoe shaped part, the arrangement being such that the cutouts bear against the sleeve in front of the valve slots when the valve is closed.

摘要: A pressure valve arranged in a rotary piston compressor which valve is mounted in a passage or bore of the housing casing of the compressor. The last mentioned passage is axis parallel to the rotary piston compressor axis. The valve has a cylindrical cross section and can be inserted into the passage or bore parallel to the compressor axis behind an outlet opening in the track of the housing casing through a side wall of the compressor. The valve seat is formed by a longitudinally slotted tubular part which exerts a radially outwardly directed resilient force. The slotted tubular part comprises segmental valve opening slots extending parallel to the side walls of the compressor. Over the slots are located valve lugs or tongues which are cut from a thin-walled tube arranged with a precise fit in the tubular part while the roots of the valve lugs or tongues are connected to the thin-walled tube. An additional tube is with precise fit inserted into the thin-walled tube. Cut out of the additional tube are stroke-limiting lugs or tongues which are located behind the valve lugs or tongues and are curved toward the interior of the thin-walled tube, the roots of the stroke-limiting lugs or tongues being connected to the additional tube.

摘要: A compound supercharged rotary piston engine device in which a rotary piston compressor is interposed between a pair of rotary piston engines to form a unit. A single shaft extends through the unit and has coaxial eccentrics for the engines and an eccentric displaced 180.degree. therefrom for the compressor. The compressor supplies primary combustion air to the engines and also supplies air thereto for afterburning uncombusted fuel entrained in the exhaust gases of the engines. The air supply from the compressor to the engines takes place in a set of passages in the walls which separate the compressor from the engines and the passages are under the control of the pistons of the device.
