    Abstract: The semifinished casting for an alloy road wheel undergoes three successive machining operations in which material is removed by stages to produce an inner circumferential seating, destined ultimately to accommodate one bead of a tire, a center hole coaxial both with the inner seating and with the axis of rotation of the wheel, also a set of fixing holes of which the axes describe a circle centered on the axis of rotation, and finally, an outer circumferential seating destined to accommodate the remaining bead of the tire, which is offset from the axis of rotation in such a way as to achieve a non-uniform distribution of mass, limited to the part of wheel affording the outer circumferential seating, that varies progressively with the change in angular position around the axis of rotation between a maximum and a minimum value.

    Abstract: A method of forming a wheel having a plurality of ornamental spoke elements on an outer side thereof includes the steps of providing a load supporting wheel portion having a mounting hub, a tire receiving rim and a radial wall portion extending therebetween. The radial wall portion is provided an axially extending, radially outwardly facing surface on the outer side. A radially inwardly open circumferential groove is formed on the outer side of the rim. A cylindrical element has a plurality of openings therein and is installed in the groove. A hub plate is formed to overlie the wall portion with an edge portion thereof being located radially outwardly of the axially extending surface. A plurality of spoke elements are formed with a hub end and a rim end with the rim end being installed in each of the openings and the hub end being installed against the axially extending surface. The hub plate is installed over the wall portion with the edge portion thereof entrapping the hub end of the spoke elements against the axially extending surface.

    Abstract: The disclosure discloses a method for manufacturing special purpose vehicle wheels by using 7000 series aluminum alloys, comprising the following steps: step 1, smelting 7000 series aluminum alloys in a smelting furnace; step 2, making the solution obtained in step 1 into an aluminum alloy ingot blank through a spraying and forming process; step 3, extruding the aluminum alloy ingot blank of step 2 to obtain an extrusion bar; step 4, sawing the extrusion bar into blanks and heating them; step 5, rolling the blank into a cake; step 6, putting the cake into a press for forging and forming; step 7, spinning and forming the wheel rim. The wheel manufactured by the method for manufacturing special vehicle wheels with 7000 series aluminum alloys in the present disclosure has high and stable conductivity, qualified impact test and good bending and radial fatigue performance.

    Abstract: The invention provides a rolling forming method of wheel disc, which comprises the following steps: (1) Baiting a circular blank; (2) placing the circular blank in a cavity of a rolling explorator and adopting at least two rolling wheels symmetrically arranged along the circumferential direction of the rolling explorator to perform planar synchronous staggered rolling on the circular blank in the cavity of the rolling explorator; (3) performing trimming and sizing; and (4) stretch forming.     Abstract: This invention relates to a unitary steel wheel as well as an apparatus and method for producing a unitary steel wheel. The unitary wheel comprises rim and disc components. In one embodiment, the unitary wheel further comprises approximately a 50 taper bead-seat for flat or semi-drop cantar rims, produced from a generally circular steel blank. The blank preferably has a cantar hole of predetermined size. In a first step, the blank is initially placed in a spinning machina to form disk and rim portions of a predetermined profila and shape. The preform is further spun and flow formed in the spinning machine, to form a gutter, well, bead-Seat, and/or fixed flange. The preform is then forward and reverse spun to form the final profila and shape of the gutter, wall, bead-seat, and/or fixed flange.
