摘要： A business card comprises front and back sides and a flap permanently attached to the business card. The flap comprises front and back sides and an adhesive on at least a portion of the flap's back side. The adhesive is capable of removably and reusably adhering to objects. The flap is foldable with respect to the business card such that the flap can be placed in at least two configurations. In a first configuration, the adhesive adheres to a portion of the back side of the business card, so that the business card is non-adhesive and can be used like a convention business card. In a second configuration, the flap aligns at least approximately with the business card, thereby presenting the flap's adhesive to be able to adhere to another object such that the front side of the business card faces outward from said another object.

摘要： A waterproof, tear-resistant accordion book with magnet covers that hold the book together, and adhere to magnetically susceptible surfaces. The book comprises an accordion-folded sheet of material that is tear-resistant and waterproof and can be preprinted or can be written upon. The covers are attached to the respective outer folded portions. The book also can be made with tear-off pages that extend beyond the covers, and can also be made to float by means of a buoyant layer. An alternate embodiment of the invention utilizes a thin plastic box contains containing audio components with a built-in keypad. The user inputs key combinations as printed in the book, and by virtue of a sound chip with pre-recorded sound, can hear played hundreds of phrases or sounds.

The method comprises (a) folding the sheet by making a first fold in the sheet in a direction parallel to a first direction; (b) folding the sheet by making a second fold in the sheet in a direction parallel to the first direction to form a first folded article having a first end and a second end opposite the first end; (c) making a plurality of transverse folds in the first folded article in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction to form a second folded article having a first end, a second end, a first portion adjacent the first end of the second folded article, and a second portion adjacent the second end of the second folded article; (d) folding the second folded article by making an additional fold in a direction parallel to the second direction to produce a third folded article having a first end, a second end, and a plurality of intermediate portions disposed between the first and second ends of the third folded article; (e) depositing an adhesive on a portion of the third folded article; and (f) making a final fold in the third folded article in a direction parallel to the second direction to form the folded item so that a portion of the third folded article is wrapped around the intermediate portions of the third folded article.

The electrical circuits in the leaves include electrical elements such as switches, and sensory output devices (e.g., thermochromic devices, light emitting diodes, thermo-olfactory devices, electrochromic devices, and the like). The electrical elements are associated with particular portions of the printed material so that the particular portions can be selectively highlighted or emphasized (e.g., designated by actuation of a visual or olfactory device and/or text read). A particularly advantageous switch structure formed integral to the page employing standard printing techniques, the bonding of LEDs directly into the printed circuit, and various advantageous methods of construction of the book are also disclosed.
