摘要: A selective deceleration brake control system which enables the operator of an aircraft or other vehicle to preselect a rate of deceleration for the vehicle. The system produces a velocity reference signal which decreases in value at a rate indicative of the rate of vehicle deceleration selected by the operator. A signal indicative of actual wheel velocity is continuously produced and compared with the velocity reference signal to generate an error signal. The error signal is processed and used to produce a brake control signal. The system continuously controls braking effort to cause the vehicle to decelerate at the rate selected by the operator. The selective deceleration circuit cooperates with an anti-skid brake control circuit such that at any instant the circuit providing the higher brake release command will control.

摘要: A system may include an auto brake valve installed in an aircraft, an auto brake selector (ABS) switch communicatively coupled to the auto brake valve, and a runway overrun awareness and alerting system (ROAAS) communicatively coupled to the auto brake valve. The ABS switch may be configured to have a manual ABS switch setting to control the auto brake valve. The ROAAS may include at least one processor configured to: obtain ROAAS output data, the ROAAS output data including at least one of selected runway, runway distance remaining, runway stopping point, or runway condition; obtain a trained artificial intelligence (AI) and/or machine learning (ML) model; based at least on the ROAAS output data and the trained AI and/or ML model, infer an ABS brake setting; and set the auto brake valve in accordance with the ABS brake setting.

摘要: The invention relates to a device for braking a wheel, the device comprising:
a brake including at least a first actuator and a second actuator arranged to apply a braking torque to the wheel;
a control system arranged to control the first and second actuators individually as a function of a required braking value; and
at least a first breaking torque sensor arranged to supply the control unit with a first measurement of the braking torque applied to the wheel by the brake.
According to the invention, the control system is arranged to interrupt control of the first actuator or control of the second actuator in the event of the braking torque measured by the first sensor exceeding a predetermined braking torque limit.
