Abstract:
An apparatus for closing containers includes a movable closing head for applying closures to the containers and is arranged in the interior of a sterile chamber of the apparatus and arranged to move in a longitudinal direction (L) of the containers to be closed. At least one wall is provided which delimits the sterile chamber, wherein the closing device is arranged on a carrier which is arranged partially inside the sterile chamber and partially outside the sterile chamber, and extends through the wall and moves in the longitudinal direction (L) relative to the wall. Arranged in the interior of the sterile chamber is a first sealing element which is elastic in the longitudinal direction (L) and which seals off from the sterile chamber a region of the outer periphery of the carrier.
Abstract:
A closing tool for a closing machine for placing a closure on a container, where a holding force is applied to the closure by means of a gripping device. In order to obtain a universal embodiment for the closing tool the gripping device is provided with a magnetic actuator, such as with permanent magnets, for applying the holding force.
Abstract:
An apparatus for treating containers, includes a transport unit that transports the containers through a clean room and a plurality of treatment elements arranged within the clean room. The clean room is separated by a plurality of walls against an environment. The treatment elements are movable, for example, rotatable in relation to a predefined axis and movable in the direction of this axis, in order to attach closure caps onto the containers. Each of the treatment elements is arranged on a carrier that extends through a wall of the clean room, and each has a sealing unit in order to seal at least one movement of the carrier. The sealing unit includes a receptacle for receiving a liquid separating medium and a wall element movably arranged within the separating medium. At least one sealing unit has an inlet via which a cleaning medium can be supplied to the sealing unit.
Abstract:
An apparatus for the closure of containers may include at least one closure head for applying the closures. The at least one closure head is situated in a clean room sealed off by a medium. The apparatus including a movement device arranged at least in part in the clean room. The movement device is configured to produce a rotational movement of the closure head about a longitudinal axis of the movement device and a translational movement of the closure head along the longitudinal axis of the movement device. The movement device is contacted at least locally by the medium for sealing off the clean room from a non-clean room.

Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for closing containers, comprising a closing device (2) which applies closures to the containers, wherein this closing device comprises a movable closing head (22) for applying closures to the containers and is arranged in the interior of a sterile chamber (4) of the apparatus (1) and can move in a longitudinal direction (L) of the containers to be closed, and wherein at least one wall (12) is provided which delimits the sterile chamber (4), wherein the closing device (2) is arranged on a carrier (6) which is arranged partially inside the sterile chamber (4) and partially outside the sterile chamber (4), extends through the wall (12) and moves in the longitudinal direction (L) relative to the wall (12), and wherein arranged in the interior of the sterile chamber (4) is a first sealing element (10) which is elastic in the longitudinal direction (L) and which seals off from the sterile chamber (4) a region (6a) of the outer periphery of the carrier (6).
Abstract:
For closing bottles with sterile caps, the caps are placed in a non-sterile environment in a vertical arrangement and are supplied vertically to a first sterile area. The interior of the caps is arranged to be accessible horizontally. The caps are sterilized in the first sterile area and transferred to a second sterile area where the caps are placed onto bottles. Subsequently, the bottle is closed with the cap. The machine for sterile closing of bottles with caps has a sterilization device with an individualization device for picking up caps and a vertical transport path feeding the caps to the sterilization chamber. A placing device receives the caps from the sterilization device and places the caps onto bottles. A closing device closes the bottles with the cap placed thereon. The sterilization device, the placing device, and the closing device operate as synchronized modules of a linear machine.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sterilizing device (10) for sterilizing closures (16), such as lids and caps for containers, such as bottles and jars, which device comprises a housing (12), provided with a closure entry (14) for supplying closures, a closure exit (18) for discharging sterilized closures from the device, a sterilizing-agent feed (21) for feeding sterilizing agent into the device and a discharge (28; 30) for discharging used sterilizing agent, as well as pass-through means (20) for passing closures (16) through the housing (12), the pass-through means (20) comprising a non-rectilinear pass-through path (58) in the plane parallel to the main plane of the closures. A sterilizing method is also described.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a capping machine comprising a protected area from impurities, an unprotected area divided from the protected area by a parting wall, and an operating unit. The operating unit includes a container support element arranged in the protected area, an operating head arranged in the protected area and configured to apply one capsule on the relative container, a motor assembly arranged in the unprotected area and configured to drive motion of the operating head, a torque control head between the motor assembly and the operating head, and an annular bellows element coaxial with the vertical axis and within the protected area and one opposite axial end crossed in a sealed manner by an output shaft of the torque control head. The torque control head is arranged above the parting wall in the unprotected area and the output shaft crosses said opening and the entire bellows element.
