Abstract:
Rotatable bottle or container capping machine for screwing threaded screw caps onto a threaded mouth portion of filled bottles or containers to close filled bottles or containers, and a method of operation thereof. The abstract of the disclosure is submitted herewith as required by 37 C.F.R. §1.72(b). As stated in 37 C.F.R. §1.72(b): A brief abstract of the technical disclosure in the specification must commence on a separate sheet, preferably following the claims, under the heading “Abstract of the Disclosure.” The purpose of the abstract is to enable the Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and gist of the technical disclosure. The abstract shall not be used for interpreting the scope of the claims. Therefore, any statements made relating to the abstract are not intended to limit the claims in any manner and should not be interpreted as limiting the claims in any manner.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for closing containers with closures comprising a closing head (2) that attaches the closures to the containers, wherein said closing head (2) can be moved relative to the closures with a first movement type and is arranged within a sterile space (8) with a first movement unit (4) for producing a movement of the closure with the first movement type, wherein said first movement unit (4) is arranged at least partially outside the sterile space (8), wherein the sterile space (8) is bounded by at least one first wall (12) and the device comprises a ring-shaped channel (14) into which said first wall (12) protrudes, wherein the ring-shaped channel (14) can be moved relative to the first wall (12) and can be filled with a fluid medium, and wherein the first movement unit (4) is arranged within the channel (14) at least in sections.
Abstract:
A passage for the sealed and/or sterile passage of a functional element (15), for example a rod and/or wave-like functional element through at least one wall (6) separating a sterile chamber (5) from an non-sterile chamber, comprising at least one hydraulic seal (20) enabling a relative movement of the functional element (15) in relation to the at least one wall (6).
Abstract:
Device (1) for feeding container closures, comprising guiding means (2) for conveying the closures (100) to a treatment station associable with said device. The device (1) comprises spacer means (5, 105) to deliver the closures to the treatment station at evenly spaced time intervals, said spacer means being operatively associated with said guiding means (2) and positioned upstream from said treatment station. Apparatus for sterilising container closures equipped with a sterilisation station and comprising such a device (1) for feeding container closures to said sterilisation station.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a sterilizing device (10) for sterilizing closures (16), such as lids and caps for containers, such as bottles and jars, which device comprises a housing (12), provided with a closure entry (14) for supplying closures, a closure exit (18) for discharging sterilized closures from the device, a sterilizing-agent feed (21) for feeding sterilizing agent into the device and a discharge (28; 30) for discharging used sterilizing agent, as well as pass-through means (20) for passing closures (16) through the housing (12), the pass-through means (20) comprising a non-rectilinear pass-through path (58) in the plane parallel to the main plane of the closures. A sterilizing method is also described.
Abstract:
A beverage bottling plant and method for filling bottles with a liquid beverage having a treatment device for beverage container caps. The treatment device for treating beverage container caps includes a first tower and a second tower provided with parallel axes and driven at the same peripheral speed. Transfer chutes are provided that emerge with their ends onto carrier rings of different towers, which chutes transfer caps from each tier of the first tower to a tier of the second tower, and from there, optionally via at least one additional tower and transfer chutes, to the next-lower tier of first tower.
Abstract:
A capping plant (10) for capping containers (100) made of thermoplastic material, includes a capping unit (11) of a rotating carousel type comprising a plurality of capping stations (111) and a first profile (114) arranged so as to contact a part of a tubular body (100a) of the containers (100) which is exposed towards an outside of the rotating carousel of the capping unit (11); a star-wheel (12) located downstream of the capping unit (11); an outfeed conveyor (13) located downstream of the star-wheel (12); a connection cross-member (17) between the first profile (14) and the outfeed conveyor (13), the outfeed conveyor (13) is integrally constrained to a first portion (17a) of the connection cross-member (17) and the first profile (114) is integrally constrained to a second portion (17b) of the connection cross-member (17); an actuating device (18) configured to adjust the height of the connection cross-member (17).
Abstract:
A closing tool for a closing machine for placing a closure on a container, where a holding force is applied to the closure by means of a gripping device. In order to obtain a universal embodiment for the closing tool the gripping device is provided with a magnetic actuator, such as with permanent magnets, for applying the holding force.
Abstract:
An apparatus for the closure of containers may include at least one closure head for applying the closures. The at least one closure head is situated in a clean room sealed off by a medium. The apparatus including a movement device arranged at least in part in the clean room. The movement device is configured to produce a rotational movement of the closure head about a longitudinal axis of the movement device and a translational movement of the closure head along the longitudinal axis of the movement device. The movement device is contacted at least locally by the medium for sealing off the clean room from a non-clean room.
