摘要: A hydraulic mechanical transmission includes a first hydraulic unit having a first shaft and a second hydraulic unit having a second shaft. The second hydraulic unit is connected in hydraulic fluid communication with the first hydraulic unit by high and low pressure lines. A mechanical torque transfer arrangement transfers torque between the first shaft of the first hydraulic unit and a rotatable housing of the second hydraulic unit. One of the first and second hydraulic units operates as a hydraulic pump and the other operates as a hydraulic motor, and both of the first and second hydraulic units have variable displacement.

摘要: The invention relates to a hydrodynamic 2-speed turbine drive, in particular, turbine drives for application in under-floor or low-floor drive systems on rail vehicles, with two hydrodynamic components for the formation of two tractive-work circuits for two different speed ranges. A first hydrodynamic component is in the form of a hydrodynamic speed/torque converter (3) and a second hydrodynamic component is in the form of a hydrodynamic clutch (4). Drive for the hydrodynamic components is achieved from the drive input shaft (11) by means of a high gear set (14). Coupling of the hydrodynamic components with the drive output shaft (12) is achieved by means of a reverse gear set (22). According to the invention, the hydrodynamic speed/torque converter (3) and the hydrodynamic clutch (4) are arranged parallel to each other and with no, or very little offset when considered in the axial direction between drive input shaft (11) and drive output shaft (12). Furthermore the drive output shaft (12) is arranged above the drive input shaft (11). The reverse gear set (22) is arranged on the side of the clutch (4) and the arrangement of the retarder (35) is achieved without any influence on the arrangement of the drive flange of the drive assembly unit on the side of the speed/torque converter (3).

摘要: A hydrodynamic reversing transmission for earth moving vehicles, forklift trucks or locomotives wherein the degree of filling of each torque converter of the forward drive train is controlled simultaneously with the degree of filling of the corresponding torque converter in the reverse drive train by a reversing valve. The reversing valve has a first operative position in which the filling and draining connections of one converter are respectively connected to the pump and sealed while the filling and draining connections of the other converter are connected to the sump to allow for complete draining of the other converter, a second operative position in which the filling and draining connections of the one converter are connected to the sump for complete draining of the one converter and the filling and draining connections of the other converter are respectively connected to the pump and sealed, and several intermediate positions in each of which the filling connections of both converters are connected with the pump and the draining connections of both converters communicate with the sump. This insures that the converter which is selected to transmit torque to the output shaft of the transmission is partially filled during adjustment of the reversing valve to the corresponding operative position.
