The functional frame includes an upper frame part having a delimiting web which protrudes upward on the upper frame part such that the recessed grip is embodied in the upper frame part.

The door handle attaches to a door trim, wherein the outer locator pin on one end of the door handle sets the horizontal and vertical alignment of the door trim and the outer locator pin on the opposite end of the door handle sets the angular alignment of the door trim. The door handle also attaches to a first handle bracket and a second handle bracket. The outer and inner locating pins on one end of the door handle set the vertical and horizontal alignment and the angular alignment of the first handle bracket, respectively. The outer and inner locating pins on the opposite end of the door handle set the vertical and horizontal alignment and the angular alignment of the second handle bracket, respectively.

The attachment mechanism is configured for attachment to a handle of an oven appliance door. The arm extends from the attachment mechanism to the camera, and attaches to at least one of the camera or a housing, if provided. The camera records or transmits images of the oven cavity to, e.g., a user device allowing a user to monitor a doneness of any food items positioned within the oven appliance.
