    摘要: The present invention relates to a mini stereoscopic single camera apparatus in the form of swivel plates with positioning stop brakes. With this apparatus an attached camera can swivel and turn in a semi-circular path from the position on the left to the position on the right. This allows the apparatus to be the smallest designed apparatus to aid a user to shift a single camera from a left-eye capture position to a right-eye capture position distance of 6.5 cm without moving on a straight-line path. This novel mini-sized stereoscopic apparatus may be used with any digital, SLR, APS, Polaroid, disposable, point and shoot, or any other camera that can capture a still image of a scene or a subject on any medium. This apparatus may also be used in conjunction with any tripod or monopod. The invention helps to capture a stereo pair of images, one that emulates a left eye view of the intended subject and another that emulates a right eye view of the same scene or subject. The two image pairs can then be processed, scanned or downloaded into a computer and/or printed on paper through printing devices or viewed in any desired 3D, stereoscopic, anaglyph or interlaced viewing formats.

    摘要: A method and system for the creation and viewing of stereoscopic immersive images. By creating two immersive images from an offset camera platform, the illusion of depth can be provided by a left and right view in the form of an interactive panoramic image. By capturing two immersive images on a fixture with horizontal separation of the centers of each immersive image, each constructed from a sequence of fisheye images that are captured in a constant direction and seamed together, two files that can be used to produce a stereoscopic display are created. The resulting files can be displayed using any number of stereoscopic displays including dual monitors, one for each eye, or shuttered displays for each eye from a single monitor, or displays with polarized filters directing separate views to each eye. A method of capturing immersive images for stereoscopic display comprising the steps of mounting a camera input means on an offset camera platform means; rotating the offset camera means through a series of positions in a constant direction; capturing an immersive image with the camera input means at each of the series of positions; converting the captured immersive images into digital data images; creating two totally immersive representations from the digital data images, one for each eye, and digitally storing the totally immersive representations in memory; transforming a portion of the totally immersive representation with distortion and perspective correction; and displaying the two totally immersive representations independently to each eye of a user.

    摘要: A photographic camera for three dimensional photography. The photosensitive material is positioned at a fixed location during the exposure cycle of the camera. Optics projects the light from a scene to be photographed along an optical path onto the located photosensitive material. A lenticular screen is positioned in the optical path and adjacent the location for photosensitive material. The path of light from the scene is blocked and an optical aperture is passed across the optical path for sequentially exposing the photosensitive material through the lenticular screen to the light rays from the scene. A lenticular screen is moved a predetermined distance along a path transverse to the path of the light simultaneously with the movement of the optical aperture. The arrangement for moving the lenticular screen comprises means for guiding the screen along said predetermined path and a pivoted member, a connection between the pivoted member, at a position displaced from the pivot thereof, and the screen. Also a rack is connected to the pivoted member and a pinion engages the rack. A motor rotatably drives the pinion to thereby move the rack and thereby pivot the pivoted member and move the screen along the predetermined path a precise predetermined amount corresponding to the driving movement of the motor.
