摘要： An apparatus for forming a double-segment overlapping gasket material for the mounting cup of an aerosol container comprising a punch mounted on a reciprocating ram having a central opening for the body of the mounting cup and a nose portion adapted to extend within the channel portion of the mounting cup, said nose portion having a specific shape and the punch having a shoulder in the inside diameter of the punch to urge the gasket material disposed on the body portion of the cup into the channel portion, whereat upon the bottoming of the punch against the gasket, a fold line is formed in the gasket which results in the formation of the overlapping double-segment gasket.

摘要： A rivet tool/rivet nut tool/rivet bolt tool with a freely-rotatable and finely-adjustable head has a handle pivotally connected to a lever and a swivel head rotatably connected to the handle. The swivel head can be finely-adjusted by use of a [steering] gear and a slidable gear lock. The slidable gear lock has an inverted V top with a tip to mesh with the gear by the recovery force of a spring, whereby the swivel head can be finely-adjusted and whenever the swivel head is rotated, a clicking sound is made to inform a user. The back-and-forth movement of the slidable gear lock can be as a complement to the tip of the slidable gear lock and teeth of the gear to prolong the operation life of the slidable gear lock, steering gear and the rivet tool/rivet nut tool/rivet bolt tool.

摘要： An improved gasketed mounting cup for an aerosol container wherein the mounting cup has a curvilinear channel portion and the gasket is a folded-over sleeve gasket, simulating the gasket thickness of a cut gasket; wherein the outer segment of the folded-over gasket is longer than the other gasket segment but of a limited length that will allow the ultimate positioning of the gasket without the longer gasket segment contacting the surface of the mounting cup and being wedged between the bead of the container and the mounting cup during advancement of the gasket into the mounting cup.

摘要： A rivet nut tool includes a lower handle defining a body and an upper handle pivotably connected thereto. A nosepiece is attached to the body. A collet case is mounted in the body and fixedly connected with the upper handle. An adjusting collar threadedly engages with the collet case and defines an adjusting knob. A lock nut threadedly engages with the adjusting collar and locates between the adjusting knob and the body. A mandrel is connected with the adjusting collar and extends through the adjusting collar, the collet case and the nosepiece. The mandrel defines a threaded portion protruding from the nosepiece and a mandrel knob distal to the threaded portion and in contact with the adjusting knob. The mandrel is so connected with the adjusting collar that it is rotatable relative to the adjusting collar and when a large pulling force is exerted on the mandrel knob, the connection between the mandrel and the adjusting collar will be released. The mandrel is so connected with the adjusting collar that it makes the length of threaded portion of mandrel adjustable to be the same length as that of rivet nut, and the lock nut engaged with the adjusting collar can lock the positions of the adjusting collar and the mandrel.

摘要： A blind fastener setting device includes a drawing mechanism and an adjustably supported tip piece. The tip piece has several mandrel guide channels, each of which can be aligned with respect to the drawing mechanism. 摘要： Apparatus is disclosed for gripping and pulling on an elongated mandrel of a blind rivet, and having a first handle with a supporting surface and an opening therethrough for receiving the mandrel. A second handle having a mandrel receiving portion is mounted on the tool about a pivotal axis. A jaw is mounted for movement relative to the second handle about the pivotal axis. A mandrel is insertable through the opening between the receiving portion and the jaw. A spring initially biases the jaw means into contact with the supporting surface while the second handle moves towards the closed position such that the receiving portion moves towards the jaw to cause the mandrel to become tightly gripped between it and the jaw whereupon the continued movement of the second handle to the closed position moves the jaw away from contact with the supporting surface and into tighter gripping engagement with the mandrel to forcefully pull generally upwardly on the mandrel.
