    摘要: The disclosure relates to a method for screwing a locking ring onto a threaded bolt, wherein a coupling device for being threaded into the threaded bolt is driven in rotation by a rotary drive, and wherein the locking ring is then screwed onto the threaded bolt, which is fixed by the coupling device, by a locking ring holder which is driven in rotation by the rotary drive. The disclosure likewise relates to a method for screwing a locking ring comprising a fastening part and a tear-off part onto a threaded bolt, wherein a removal gripper grips the tear-off part and removes the tear-off part after the tear-off part has been torn off. The disclosure further relates to a screwing apparatus for executing a method according to the disclosure.

A pair of first slanting guiding walls is respectively formed at the moving member and the corresponding clamping member to allow the clamping member to slide relative to the corresponding moving member, and a pair of second slanting guiding walls is respectively formed at the moving members and the abutting bar to allow the moving member to slide relative to the corresponding abutting bar.

    摘要: A breakstem rivet placing tool conventionally includes a flow restrictions for hydraulic fluid used to drive the tool in a stem pulling direction. This serves to prevent recoil of the tool due to rapid acceleration of an internal piston when the stem of the breakstem rivet breaks. Prior art flow restrictions create a jet of high velocity hydraulic fluid into the tool which may damage components by erosion. A revised fluid damper valve deflects and/or diffuses the fluid flow to avoid damage by erosion.

    摘要: An autofeed speed rivet tool and method which does not require a mandrel to be constantly withdrawn and re-stocked, is very efficient and can be used in a flow line application without requiring the line to be stopped to re-load the tool with rivets. A flexible tube carries rivets to a tool, along a guide wire. A flexible, inner tube may carry the rivets, and nylon balls may be provided on an outer tube where the nylon balls work as joints, and allow the outer tube to compress without shortening the center line. The tool may incorporate a plurality of inventive concepts, such as spoons with pivotable blades which grip the mandrel very much forward of the end of the mandrel, a transfer mechanism, rivet centering mechanisms and a mechanism for longitudinally managing the mandrel.

    摘要: The invention is a system for use in a single-anvil hydraulic press or compression system for automatically selecting and changing both the upper and lower tooling. The system is installed between the upper and lower compression anvils of a hydraulic press. The upper portion includes a set of holders for upper tools and adjacent orientation structures or jaws. The upper tool holders and jaws are mounted on a horizontal member that may be moved such that one of the upper tools is "selected" by being placed immediately below the upper anvil of the press. As part of this selection process, the anvil removes the tool from the selected holder, and holds it using pneumatic suction. Then the horizontal member shifts over so that the upper anvil is situated directly above the adjacent orientation structure for that tool. To switch to a different upper tool, the horizontal member again moves the (empty) holder below the upper anvil, whereupon the pneumatic suction is removed causing the tool to drop into the holder. The horizontal member then moves to the newly selected tool holder and removes the tool therefrom using the pneumatic suction. Then the horizontal structure shifts over so that the upper anvil is situated directly above the adjacent orientation structure for the newly selected tool. Available sets of tooling for the lower anvil are mounted in vertical orientation in pockets on a movable belt adjacent to the lower anvil.
