    摘要: A seat back structure with headrest includes a vertical pressure-receiving element and cross pressure-receiving element. The headrest is fixed on a support rod operatively connected via a rotating link with an actuator link assembly. The vertical pressure-receiving element, upon one load being applied thereto from a seat occupant's lumber part, is displaced backwardly and upwardly via guide hole to push the support rod, thereby causing commencement of rotation of the rotating links to move the headrest upwardly. Thereafter, the cross pressure-receiving element, connected with the actuator link assembly, is displaced backwardly, upon another load being applied thereto from a seat occupant's dorsal part, thereby assisting in continuation of the rotation of rotating link.

    摘要: An automobile seat includes a seat cushion and a seat back tiltably mounted on the seat cushion. The automobile seat also includes a seat cushion frame, a side frame mounted on the seat cushion frame, a seat back frame mounted on the side frame so as to be rotatable within a limited angle, and a fastening member mounted on the seat back frame. The side frame has an insertion hole defined therein in which the fastening member is inserted and also has an impact absorbing structure. Where a load greater than a predetermined value is inputted to the seat from behind, a lower portion of the seat back frame is pushed upon a rearward movement of a seat occupant to thereby cause the fastening member to move rearwards while deforming the impact absorbing structure. As a result, the seat back frame rotates with respect to the side frame, and an impact is absorbed by the deformation of the impact absorbing structure.

    摘要: An energy absorption system for vehicle pillars. The energy absorption system includes a cover device attached to a pillar having an outer shell or side visible from the vehicle interior and an inner hidden side supporting a ladder-like structure which includes a spaced walls and spaced ribs integrally attached together. During energy absorption, the side walls absorb energy by bowing outward away from the ribs and occasionally tearing while energy is also absorbed by crushing distortion and tearing of the ribs from their attachment with the walls. Moreover, in an embodiment, at least one flow channel or passage for air is formed within the device laterally to the side of one of the walls. In another embodiment in which a seat belt attachment is utilized, the device forms a track for a slidable retention belt retention member.

    摘要: A shoulder anchor structure capable of reliably absorbing energy when a predetermined large load acts thereon and also capable of adjusting its energy absorption characteristic according to vehicle model. The shoulder anchor structure includes an energy absorbing member having a pair of deformation amplifying portions formed thereon. The deformation amplifying portions ensure a predetermined displacement stroke of an intermediate portion of the energy absorbing member. Further, the deformation amplifying portions can deform so as to absorb a load acting on an occupant during a secondary collision. Accordingly, there is no fear of separation of the energy absorbing member from a pillar inner panel before a predetermined amount of energy is absorbed. This makes it possible to reliably absorb the load acting on the occupant during the secondary collision.

Accordingly, a car body structure can be achieved which can control an allowable value against a compressive load applied to the seat belt anchor plate and support a large tensile load sufficiently.
