    Abstract: A vehicle emergency rescue request system includes a rescue request process apparatus and an in-vehicle apparatus. The rescue request process apparatus includes a surrounding-region terminal search unit, a rescue request transmission unit, a first request-addressee information acquisition unit, and a digital key providing unit. The surrounding-region terminal search unit searches for a terminal in a surrounding region. The rescue request transmission unit transmits a rescue request to the terminal. The first request-addressee information acquisition unit acquires, from the terminal, information identifying a request addressee who has the terminal on and accepts the rescue request. The digital key providing unit gives a door-unlock authority to the terminal after the information is acquired. The in-vehicle apparatus includes at least one processor and at least one memory. The processor acquires biometric information regarding the request addressee if the request addressee uses the door-unlock authority and unlocks a door of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A method of tracking at least one emergency service provider is disclosed. An electronic history is compiled that includes at least one identifier of a service provider, at least one identifier of an event to which the service provider responded, and GPS data identifying the geographic location of the service provider at each time interval within the duration of the event. A user interface within which is displayed a first identifier of a first event is generated to a display device. A selection of the event identifier is received from a user. In response to the selection of the identifier, an aerial view of a geographic region within which the first event took place is generated. At least one icon is displayed in the aerial view representing the service provider at the geographic location corresponding to at least one time interval during the event.

    Abstract: A base station receives an alert indicating a geofenced area, and determines whether its coverage area is completely within the area. The base station sends action messages that indicate a periodicity and end time for the user equipment to determine whether its location is within the geofenced area, a lack of service time limit and lack of service action for the user equipment to perform after it has been without cellular service for the lack of service time limit, a lack of location time limit and lack of location action for the user equipment to perform if its location cannot be determined for the lack of location time limit, and/or that the WEA has ended.

    Abstract: A communications system may include user equipment (UE) devices, communications satellites, gateways, and a terrestrial network. The UE devices may receive broadcast signals from the constellation. The UE devices may transmit registration requests to the gateways via the satellites in response to the broadcast signals. The registration requests may include information identifying the geographic locations of the UE devices and may include two-line element (TLE) identifiers. A scheduler on the terrestrial network may receive forward link traffic requests for the UE devices, each with a corresponding priority. The scheduler may also receive satellite information that includes thermal constraints, position information, and power information associated with the satellites. The scheduler may generate forward link traffic grants for the UE devices based on the forward link traffic requests, the thermal constraints, the TLE versions, the geographic locations, and the priorities.
