摘要: Linear actuators, motor assemblies, and methods to actuate a device or load are presented. A linear actuator includes a piston having a piston slot and configured to linearly shift from a first position to a second position, and rotate as the piston shifts towards the first position. The linear actuator also includes an activating lever having a shoulder that the piston engages as the piston shifts to the second position, where the activating lever is configured to shift after piston engages the shoulder. The linear actuator also includes a retractable rail configured to shift from a first position downwards to a second position, and having a tab positioned in a groove of the piston slot as the piston shifts from the first position to the second position.

摘要: A preload detectable screw device is provided which can detect preload with accuracy and can reduce the influence of generated heat on the output of a sensor. A screw device (1) includes a screw shaft (2), a nut member (3), a plurality of rolling elements (7, 8), at least one axial strain sensor (24) (B, D) that is attached to a surface of the nut member (3) and detects strain in an axial direction on the nut member (3), and at least one circumferential strain sensor (24) (A, C) that is attached to the surface of the nut member (3) and detects strain in a circumferential direction on the nut member (3). Preload of the screw device (1) is detected on the basis of outputs of the axial strain sensor (24) (B, D) and the circumferential strain sensor (24) (A, C).

The retractable lift mechanism has a first end coupled to the base and is moveable between an extended position and a retracted position. The work platform is coupled to and supported by a second end of the retractable lift mechanism. The linear actuator is configured to selectively move the retractable lift mechanism between the extended position and the retracted position. The linear actuator comprises a central screw rod, an electric motor configured to provide rotational actuation to the central screw rod, and a nut assembly configured to translate the rotational actuation of the central screw rod into linear motion. The lift controller is configured to receive a lift command from an operator, monitor at least one lift characteristic associated with the linear actuator, and selectively inhibit the lift command.

摘要: An adjustment actuator assembly for a vehicle steering system includes a leadscrew having a threaded outer surface and at least one pocket recessed radially inwardly from an outer diameter of the threaded outer surface. The adjustment actuator assembly also includes a nut having a threaded inner surface engaged with the threaded outer surface of the leadscrew, the nut axially moveable along the leadscrew during rotation of the leadscrew. The adjustment actuator assembly further includes a travel stop limiter operatively coupled to the nut, the travel stop limiter having a leg extending through an opening of the nut and spring biased into contact with the threaded outer surface of the leadscrew and moveable into the pocket of the leadscrew to limit axial translation of the nut.

摘要: In an electric parking brake device configured in such a way that a parking brake state resulting from pulling of a brake cable is released by loosening the brake cable, the brake cable is formed by twisting together a plurality of wires in such a way as to generate a twisting force in a fixed direction when pulled, and the direction in which the twisting force generated by the brake cable in a pulled state acts on a screw shaft is set to be the same direction as the direction in which a nut is rotated to loosen the brake cable. This makes it possible to reduce an operating sound and to reduce wear of members constituting a rotation restricting device.

A gap is formed between the outer member and the second gear, and between the outer member and at least either the housing or the spacer. A gap is formed between the outer member and the inner surface of the housing.
