The disclosure provides devices and methods of rotating a container using one motor, resulting in a less complex device. The device moves and rotates a container rotating member which in turn is used to rotate a container. The devices can be used in automated analytical instruments (e.g., automated blood analyzers) that automatically transport and detect the identity of sample containers. The devices can also be used in instruments that automatically spin sample containers to mix or homogenize the sample.

摘要: A linear actuator includes an electric motor and a linear motion conversion mechanism. The linear motion conversion mechanism includes a screw shaft and a nut screwed into the screw shaft, and is configured such that the nut moves linearly according to a rotation of the screw shaft. The screw shaft is provided with a hole coaxial with an axis of rotation in this linear actuator. Then, the electric motor and the linear motion conversion mechanism are axially aligned by inserting the distal end portion of the motor shaft, which is coaxial with the rotor of the electric motor and rotates integrally, into the hole.

摘要: A brake assembly comprises: a brake piston configured to be movable for a brake apply or release and having an inner wall forming a piston cavity, wherein a groove is formed on the inner wall of the brake piston; a linearly movable structure positioned within the piston cavity of the brake piston and configured to be linearly movable within the piston cavity; and a resilient material, wherein a part of the resilient material is located within the groove formed on the inner wall of the brake piston and the other part of the resilient material is disposed on an outer surface of the linearly movable structure so that the resilient material is engageable with a surface of the groove formed on the inner wall of the brake piston to move the brake piston by restoring force of the resilient material in response to linear movement of the linearly movable structure.

摘要: Described is a mechanical transmission (T) comprising a containment structure (1) housing a roto-translational element (2), extending along an axis of rotation (X) and comprising a first and a second threaded portion (3, 4), a rotary element (5) connected or connectable to a drive unit to define a mechanical power input unit and equipped with a first thread (8) designed to engage rotatably with the first threaded portion (3) to the roto-translational element in such a way as to define a first threaded connection, a fixed guide (9) having a second thread (14) designed to engage with the second threaded portion (4) of the roto-translational element (2) in such a way as to define a second threaded connection, and a translating element (10), translating along the axis (X) and defining a power output unit. The translating element (10) is connected to the roto-translational element (2) for translating at the same linear speed as the roto-translational element (2). The roto-translational element (2) is thus simultaneously coupled to the rotary element (5) and to the fixed guide (9) respectively by means of the first and second threaded connections. These connections have different pitches in such a way as to vary the angular speed between the roto-translational element (2) and the rotary element (5).
