    摘要： An indicating thermometer comprises a molded single piece main member including a disc-like portion and a hollow stem portion having an end wall, and a temperature responsive assembly including a shaft, a plug and a bimetallic helical coil having its ends secured to the shaft and the plug which is secured in the main member, wherein the shaft is journalled for sliding and rotation in the end wall of the stem portion of the main member and in the plug which is secured in the disc-like portion of the main member. An indicator member is secured to the shaft and a cover member is secured to the main member for enclosing the indicator member.

    摘要： A method of making a temperature sensing element from a composite sheet composed of two or more layers of materials having different coefficients of thermal expansion. To fabricate the element, a portion of one layer is masked, while a second portion of the layer is exposed and is removed by chemical or electrolytic action to provide an element in which one layer has a substantially greater surface area than the other layer. The element is shaped to the desired size and configuration and in use the element is mounted so that the peripheral edge is rigidly attached and sealed to a mounting support.

    摘要： A safety device for a switch includes a casing, a top cover, a conductive plate, a first terminal, a second terminal, a pushing member and a connection member. The first terminal has a first end in connection with a fixed end of the conductive plate. The second terminal has a first end with a second contact point corresponding to a first contact point on a free end of the conductive plate. The pushing member is disposed between the first terminal and the second terminal. A gap is defined between the pushing member and the conductive plate. The connection member is in connection with the top cover and the free end of the conductive plate. Therefore, the pushing member can effectively push and force the deformed conductive plate after overheating to trip off completely, so that a circuit is cut off, thereby achieving the purpose of protection of the switch.
