    Abstract: A system for testing a distributed control system of an industrial plant is provided. The distributed control system includes at least two industrial control devices and at least one data communication device. The system includes at least one engineering computer that includes an engineering data storage unit for storing engineering data of at least one part of the distributed control system, and at least one human machine interface for manipulating the engineering data. The system also includes at least one remote data processing server connected to the at least one engineering computer via a remote data connection and including an emulating virtual machine on which a soft emulator is installed for emulating one of the at least two industrial control devices and the at least one data communication device.

    Abstract: One or more techniques and/or systems are provided for network isolation. For example, nodes within a mesh of devices may be configured with routing rules, main routing tables, and alternative routing tables, such as at a layer-3 network layer. The routing rules may specify that packets received from downstream are to be routed upstream to either a gateway or a backhaul device for evaluation as to whether such packets are allowed to be communicated back downstream to destination recipients using main routing tables. An isolation rule may be configured to specify whether to block or allow packets. In an example, the gateway may either block or allow packets based upon whether a source and destination are within a same virtual local area network or are within different virtual local area networks. In this way, selective device isolation may be provided, such as at the layer-3 network layer.

    Abstract: A switchgear enclosure includes a first circuit breaker compartment having an opening therein defining a first air outlet. A second circuit breaker compartment is adjacent to and vertically below the first circuit breaker compartment. A first door is associated with the first circuit breaker compartment and a second door is associated with the second circuit breaker compartment, with each door having an opening therein defining a door air inlet. A main bus compartment is adjacent to at least the second circuit breaker compartment and has an opening therein defining a second air outlet. An air passage fluidly connects the second circuit breaker compartment with the main bus compartment so that air entering through the door air inlet of the second door can flow into the main bus compartment via the air passage and flow out of the second air outlet.
