    Abstract: A light control unit includes a wiring member including a mount section and an extending section, and a light control sheet that includes a light control layer formed between first and second transparent electrodes. The first transparent electrode has a first wiring region which is exposed from the light control layer, the second transparent electrode has a second wiring region which is exposed from the light control layer, the mount section is in the first wiring region and extends in a first direction along the edge portion of the first transparent electrode, the extending section extends from the mount section toward an outside of the first transparent electrode, the mount section has a first width along a first perpendicular direction perpendicular to the first direction, and the extending section has a second width greater than the first width of the mount section.

    Abstract: A solid-state image sensor includes a first semiconductor, and a second semiconductor having a composition different from that of the first composition and electrically connected to the first semiconductor. The first semiconductor includes a photodiode that converts light incident on the photodiode into charge carriers, first carrier storages that store the charge carriers, and a transfer gate that controls transfer the charge carriers to a selected one of the first carrier storages. The second semiconductor includes second carrier storages and a potential detection node. The second carrier storages each store charge carriers based on the charge carriers stored in a corresponding one of the first carrier storages. The potential detection node detects the electric potential of each of the second carrier storages. The solid-state image sensor further includes a reset transistor that resets the electric potential of each of the first carrier storages to a predetermined electric potential.

    Abstract: A circuit board having excellent reliability of connection between layers while being capable of achieving a compact and low-profile electronic device. In the circuit board has an LC circuit built therein with the use of a glass core having a through hole, a conductor layer formed in the through hole is connected to a wiring pattern formed on one surface of the glass core, and connected to a wiring pattern formed on the other surface of the glass core, with the conduction layer projected from the surface of the glass core. Thus, the area of contact between the conduction layer and the through hole is increased, thus making it possible to prevent the reliability of connection between layers in the through hole from being decreased, even when the glass core is reduced in thickness for achieving a low-profile device.
