Abstract: Systems and methods provide Layer 1 reference signal received power (L1-RSRP) measurement and transmission configuration indication (TCI) state switching. A cellular communications network determines a plurality transmission reception points (TRPs) configured for high speed train (HST) communication using millimeter wave (mmWave) signals, and generates a synchronization signal block (SSB) index configuration for the plurality TRPs. The SSB index configuration uses non-adjacent SSB indexes between the plurality of TRPs. A user equipment (UE), in response to entering a HST mode, performs L1-RSRP measurement sharing for SSBs received from different TRPs. A scheduling restraint may be used for TCI state switching. Autonomous UL TA adjustment timing may also be used.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured to communicate with a base station using a set of component carriers (CCs) configured for a carrier aggregation (CA) mode, in accord with a first common transmission configuration indication (TCI) identifier (ID) applied to the set of CCs. The UE is also configured to receive, from the base station, a command to switch from applying a first common TCI ID to the set of CCs to applying a second common TCI ID to the set of CCs; transmit, to the base station, an acknowledgement of the command to apply the second common TCI ID to the set of CCs; and transmit data to or receive data from the base station, using the set of CCs and in accord with the second common TCI ID, after an action delay including a first time period in which the acknowledgement is transmitted. The first time period is based on a smallest subcarrier spacing of the set of CCs.

Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for enhancement in NTN mobility. A cellular base station may serve as a source base station of a handover procedure from the source base station to a target non-terrestrial network (NTN) base station. The cellular base station may configure a parameter associated with the target NTN base station in a handover command, the parameter being related to NTN mobility, and send the handover command to a wireless device for use by the wireless device during the handover procedure. The wireless device may receive the handover command from the cellular base station, and perform the handover procedure using the parameter associated with the target NTN base station.

Abstract: Embodiments are presented herein of apparatuses, systems, and methods for a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) capable wireless device configured to perform sidelink cellular communications. The wireless device performs sidelink communications using a two-stage sidelink control information (SCI) protocol including Stage 1 SCI messaging carried on a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH), and Stage 2 SCI messaging carried on a physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The SCI messaging may be encoded using polar codes. Channel interleaving is utilized on the SCI to interleave the SCI between two or more layers of a MIMO transmission system. Scrambling for Stage 2 SCI messaging is performed based on the result of a cyclic redundancy check (CRC) performed on Stage 1 SCI messaging. Collisions between sidelink HARQ feedback to be transmitted to a base station and other transmissions are avoided based on a priority analysis of the sidelink HARQ feedback.

Abstract: In an example method, a user equipment (UE) device determines an offset length of time associated with transmitting or receiving data over a wireless network. The UE device transmits an indication of the offset length of time to the wireless network. The UE device transmits or receives, during a first time interval, a first portion of data to or from the wireless network though a first wireless link. The UE device transmits or receives, during a second time interval, a second portion of data to or from the wireless network though a second wireless link. An end of first time interval is offset from a beginning of the second time interval by the offset length of time.

The UE receives, from the base station of a wireless network, a broadcast including a system information block (SIB) identifying a plurality of random access channel (RACH) sub-bands of an uplink (UL) bandwidth and which of the plurality of RACH sub-bands includes physical random access channel (PRACH) resources. The base station selects one of the plurality of RACH sub-bands for a PRACH transmission and selects a preamble from the selected RACH sub-band and transmit the preamble to the base station to initiate a RACH procedure.

Abstract: A sidelink transmission and an uplink transmission that is carrying a sidelink hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) are both scheduled for transmission in a shared time window. If a priority associated with the sidelink HARQ is considered to be higher than a priority associated with the sidelink transmission, then a higher priority is assigned to the uplink transmission, regardless of whether the uplink transmission contains other uplink data. Otherwise, if the uplink transmission does not carry other uplink data, then the higher priority is assigned to the sidelink transmission. Greater transmission resources are given to the transmission with the higher priority.

Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is configured for half-duplex operations with a network. The UE determines that half-duplex (HD) frequency division duplex (FDD) is enabled by a network with which the UE is communicating, wherein a guard period is configured for downlink and uplink switching when the HD FDD is enabled, performs a first uplink transmission at a first time and performs a first downlink reception at a second time, wherein the guard period represents a time duration between the first time and the second time during which the UE is not to perform a second different uplink transmission or a second different downlink reception.
