Provided are a terminal-executed method for determining cell coverage in a wireless communication system, and a terminal using the method. If a device-to-device (D2D) operation is to be carried out at a non-serving frequency, the method takes measurements at the non-serving frequency, and determines cell coverage on the basis of whether at least one cell has been detected at the non-serving frequency on the basis of the measurements.

A method and apparatus for configuring a device-to-device (D2D) discovery specific logical channel group (LCG) in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) calculates a buffer status for D2D discovery announcement, configures a specific LCG identifier (ID) to transmit the D2D discovery announcement, constructs a proximity based services (ProSe) buffer status report (BSR) based on the calculated buffer status and the configured LCG ID, and transmits the constructed ProSe BSR to an evolved NodeB (eNB).

Provided are a device-to-device (D2D) operation method performed by a terminal in a wireless communication system and a terminal using the method. The method comprises: receiving a terminal auxiliary information configuration for configuring the transmission of terminal auxiliary information from a base station; and transmitting the terminal auxiliary information on the basis of the terminal auxiliary information configuration, wherein the terminal auxiliary information includes information needed for allocating a D2D resource to the terminal by the base station.

A method and apparatus for configuring measurements in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a reference signal (RS) indicator from a network, and evaluates whether a measurement report triggering event is satisfied by only using a measurement result based on a RS indicated by the RS indicator. The RS indicator may indicate which RS is used for reporting the measurement result. The RS indicator may indicate a cell-specific reference signal (CRS) or a discovery reference signal (DRS).

A method and apparatus for transmitting device-to-device (D2D) related control information in a wireless communication system is provided. A user equipment (UE) receives a transmission period of the D2D related control information from a D2D synchronization reference UE, transmits a scheduling assignment for transmission of the D2D related control information, and transmits the D2D related control information periodically based on the received transmission period.

The present specification proposes a method for receiving system information by a user equipment (UE) configured with an extended discontinuous reception (eDRX) in a wireless communication system. Specifically, the method includes the step of receiving a paging message including an indicator indicating system information modification in a modification period within an active time of the eDRX; determining whether to receive the system information by comparing the active time with the modification period; and receiving the system information in a next modification period when it is determined to receive the system information.

A user equipment (UE) selects one of a first D2D resource pool or a second D2D resource pool. The first D2D resource pool may be a preconfigured D2D resource pool, and the second D2D resource pool may be a D2D resource pool received from a cell. The UE transmits an indication of the selected D2D resource pool while performing a D2D operation based on the selected D2D resource pool.

The method comprises receiving configuration information indicating a plurality of frequencies and an implicit highest priority application indicator, wherein, when the indicator allows application of the implicit highest priority, a frequency which should be camped on for a device-to-device (D2D) operation from among the plurality of frequencies is regarded as having the highest priority.
