    Abstract: A brake control device adjusts a fluid pressure of a brake fluid in a wheel cylinder, and is provided with: a fluid passage which connects a master cylinder and the wheel cylinder; a first electromagnetic valve which is provided in the fluid passage; a second electromagnetic valve which is provided in the fluid passage between the first electromagnetic valve and the wheel cylinder; a fluid pump which is driven by an electric motor, suctions the brake fluid from the fluid passage at a suction part between the first electromagnetic valve and the second electromagnetic valve, and discharges the brake fluid to the fluid passage at a discharge part between the first electromagnetic valve UP and the second electromagnetic valve; a check valve which is provided between the fluid pump and the discharge part; and a controller which controls the first electromagnetic valve, the second electromagnetic valve, and the electric motor.

The width W of the notch is set on the basis of a target attraction force for attracting a plunger, the attraction force increasing with an increase in the width W, and the length L of the notch is greater than or equal to a prescribed length Ld where the attraction force increasing with an increase in the length L becomes constant at the target attraction force in the set width W irrespective of an increase in the length L.

    Abstract: A braking control device drives an electric motor based on a command pressing force corresponding to the required wheel braking force, and presses a friction member against a rotation member fixed to the wheel to generate a wheel braking force. The braking control device includes: a sensor for detecting wheel speed; a sensor for detecting the actual pressing force applied by the friction member; and a controller for calculating the target pressing force based on the command pressing force, and controlling the motor so that the target and actual pressing forces match. The controller calculates wheel slip state quantity based on the wheel speed, and executes, based on the slip state quantity, slip suppression control for reducing the degree of wheel slippage. Based on the actual pressing force at the start of the slip suppression control, the controller reduces the command pressing force and calculates the target pressing force.

The motor pin PMT penetrates a holding member HJB and is pressed into the circuit board KBN, which is fixed to the caliper CRP by the holding member HJB and the motor pin PMT.

    Abstract: A braking control device includes a first wheel cylinder on either the left or right front wheel side of a vehicle; a second wheel cylinder on the other side; a first pressure-regulating mechanism that pressurizes the brake fluid inside the first wheel cylinder; a second pressure-regulating mechanism that pressurizes brake fluid inside the second wheel cylinder; and a normally-closed opening/closing valve interposed in a connecting fluid path connecting the first wheel cylinder and the second wheel cylinder and in which, if a sudden operation is determined, the opening/closing valve is put in a connected state and increases the pressure of the brake fluid inside the first and second wheel cylinders by the first and second pressure-regulating mechanisms.
