Abstract: A fluid end assembly comprising a housing having multiple conduits formed therein. A tubular sleeve is installed within one of the conduits and is configured to house a plurality of packing seals. A seal is installed within a groove formed in the walls of the housing surrounding the tubular sleeve such that the seal engages an outer surface of the tubular sleeve.

Abstract: A brake control device adjusts a fluid pressure of a brake fluid in a wheel cylinder, and is provided with: a fluid passage which connects a master cylinder and the wheel cylinder; a first electromagnetic valve which is provided in the fluid passage; a second electromagnetic valve which is provided in the fluid passage between the first electromagnetic valve and the wheel cylinder; a fluid pump which is driven by an electric motor, suctions the brake fluid from the fluid passage at a suction part between the first electromagnetic valve and the second electromagnetic valve, and discharges the brake fluid to the fluid passage at a discharge part between the first electromagnetic valve UP and the second electromagnetic valve; a check valve which is provided between the fluid pump and the discharge part; and a controller which controls the first electromagnetic valve, the second electromagnetic valve, and the electric motor.

Abstract: A variable area fan nozzle actuation (“VAFN”) system is disclosed. The VAFN system may include an electrohydrostatic actuator (“EHA”) arranged to translate a VAFN panel relative to a translating sleeve. An electrical coupling may extend between a translating sleeve associated with the VAFN system and the fixed structure. The electrical coupling may be movable so that as the translating sleeve and fixed structure move relative to each other, power may be provided to the EHA by a wiring harness extending across the space between the translating sleeve and the fixed structure and connecting the EHA to an EHA power source.

Abstract: An angular momentum propulsion apparatus is disclosed that imparts motion on an object. The propulsion apparatus includes a support structure and a first tube assembly coupled to the support structure. The first tube assembly includes a first curved portion, a second curved portion coupled to the first curved portion by a pair of angled joints, and a pump configured to pump a fluid through the first and second curved portions of the first tube assembly. The propulsion apparatus further includes a motor coupled to the support structure and a control system coupled to the motor and the pump and configured to propel the propulsion apparatus by simultaneously controlling a rotation of the support structure and a flow of the fluid within the first tube assembly.

Abstract: A multi-speed jack, having a pump assembly including a pump block having a first cylinder and a second cylinder defined therein, a piston assembly movable within the pump block, the piston assembly having a first portion configured to sealably engage with the first cylinder and a second portion configured to sealably engage with the second cylinder, a reservoir for storing hydraulic fluid and coupled to the pump block so that when the piston assembly is moved in a first direction, hydraulic fluid in the reservoir is supplied to the first cylinder and the second cylinder, a lifting assembly having a ram chamber and a ram rod, the ram chamber coupled to the pump assembly and configured to receive fluid from the first cylinder and the second cylinder when the piston assembly is moved in a second direction so as to raise the ram rod and a bypass check valve provided in the first cylinder. The bypass check valve is configured so that when the piston assembly is moving in the second direction and the pressure in the first cylinder exceeds a threshold pressure, the hydraulic fluid in the first cylinder returns to the reservoir. The second cylinder may be much smaller to provide leverage to move a far greater load though at a much slower rate.
