Abstract:
The invention pertains to methods and vaccines suitable for preventing or reducing malaria transmission. The vaccines block the interaction between α-tubulin from a malarial parasite and FREP-1 from the mid-gut of a malaria carrier mosquito, for example, Anopheles gambiae.
Abstract:
Described herein are copolymers comprising at least one first water-soluble monomeric unit, at least one second water-soluble monomeric unit, and at least one monomeric unit containing a basic residue.
Abstract:
A method performed by a processing system includes determining a location in a metadata tree of a patient for an electronic health record, generating a record key for the electronic health record based on the location and a provider key corresponding to a provider, the provider key generated from a patient key corresponding to the patient, encrypting the electronic health record using the record key to generate a encrypted record, and providing the encrypted record to an encrypted data store.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to a portable mop and a mop bucket used with the portably mop. The portable mop includes a mop rod (1). The mop rod (1) is provided with a steering mechanism (5). The steering mechanism (5) includes a sleeve nut (6), a locking thread sleeve (7) and a hinged ladder rotating shaft (8). A hinge plane (10) is arranged at the upper end of the hinged ladder rotating shaft (8). The mop bucket includes an integrated squeezing and brushing device is formed by the connection of the squeezing roller pair and the brush body by virtue of a combined support; the combined support comprises a left and a right side baffles; and the brush body is fixedly connected with the squeezing roller pair through connecting screw rods to form a whole.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a novel phosphate based composite anode material, preparation method and uses thereof. Specifically disclosed is a phosphate based composite cell anode material, the material having monoclinic and orthorhombic crystal lattice structures with the chemical formula of A3−xV2−yMY(PO4)3, wherein A is Li+, Na+ or the mixture thereof, M is Mg, Al, Sc, Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn or Nb, 0≦x≦3.0, 0≦y≦2.0, and C is the carbon layer. Also disclosed are a preparation method and uses of the composite material. Unlike simple physical mixing, the composite material of the present invention has the advantages of an adjustable electric potential plateau, high reversible capacity, good cycle stability, power consumption early warning and the like.
Abstract:
An engine and transmission spacer with integrated hydraulic tank preferably includes a spacer case, an engine flange and a transmission flange. The spacer case includes an outer peripheral wall, a first outer wall and a second outer wall. The first outer wall is formed on one end of the outer peripheral wall and the second outer wall is formed on an opposing end of the outer peripheral wall. The engine flange extends from one end of the spacer case and the transmission flange extends from the opposing end thereof. A fluid cavity is formed in an inner surface of the outer peripheral wall, the first outer wall and the second outer wall. At least one pump port is preferably formed through a side of the outer peripheral wall. An oil pump is used to transfer fluid from the fluid cavity to another location.
Abstract:
In a method for starting up an application of an electronic device, usage histories of applications, which have used an audio channel of the electronic device, are read from a log file of a storage system of the electronic device when a headphone is inserted to a headphone socket of the electronic device and no application previously activated is using the audio channel. A menu list of icons of the applications is displayed on a display of the electronic device. An application selected from the menu list by a user is started up.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a panel, especially for a component having a box structure in an airplane airfoil, comprising a surface shaped body and grid-like reinforcement bars protruding from the body on one side of the body, and the body and the grid-like reinforcement bars are integral molded. Since the body and the grid-like reinforcement bars of the panel are integral molded, no additional connecting process is required, so that the disconnection phenomenon as happened between the skin and the stiffener or stringer of the prior art would not occur, and the assembly complexity can be decreased.
Abstract:
This disclosure relates to adaptive content control and display for internet media. A playback component provides for playback of media content. An input component detects user inputs during playback of the content. In response to the user inputs being detected, a menu component displays a level of a pivot menu during playback of the content. The pivot menu is displayed on top, or in front, of a portion of the content during playback, and the pivot menu can be at least partially transparent to enable consumption of the content to continue without complete obstruction.
Abstract:
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an authentication method and an electronic device. The method includes: generating by a first device an authentication request if a predetermined condition exists between the first device and a second device, when the first device is in a locking state, wherein the first device has the locking state and a non-locking state; receiving by the first device authentication information, the authentication information being input in response to the authentication request; and authenticating the second device using the authentication information. Through the present disclosure, others cannot directly damage or copy data in the first device in a connection manner such as using a data line even if they get hold of the device, as long as the first device is in the locking state. Thus, the security of the data in the first device is ensured. Since a complex synchronization authentication protocol does not need to be developed by synchronization software and the first device, and the present disclosure is compatible with various commercially available synchronization software, the implementation method is simple and efficient, and the compatibility is good.
