Abstract: A reducer housing and an electric drive assembly are disclosed. A liquid cooled heat dissipation structure is provided at a bottom of the reducer housing and/or on a side wall thereof through which lubricating oil flows. The heat dissipation structure includes a coolant tank and a cover plate that seals the coolant tank. Two ends of the coolant tank are respectively provided with a liquid inlet and a liquid outlet. Convex structures and concave structures are alternately provided on the bottom of coolant tank so that inner and outer sides of the bottom of the coolant tank are in a wavy shape to increase a contact area between the coolant tank and the lubricating oil inside the reducer housing.

Abstract: This invention relates to the lubrication of a wheel support 10. The wheel support 10 comprises support 10 comprises a housing 12 that includes a base portion 14 defining a cavity 16 for receiving therein at least one gear 40, and lubricant for lubricating the gear 40. Abstract: An electric drive unit and method of assembling the same is disclosed. The electric drive unit includes a rotor having a rotor shaft, and gear shaft, where the rotor shaft is inserted into the gear shaft. The gear shaft is supported by two bearings, while the rotor shaft supported directly at one end by a bearing and at the other by the gear shaft. A wave spring is also disclosed that provides an axial loading to the rotor shaft. Also disclosed is a balancing ring secured to an end of the rotor via a locknut. The balancing ring can be machined in order to balance the rotor. The rotor shaft can be connected to the gear shaft via a spline connection. The rotor shaft can bear against the gear shaft via a pilot journal and pilot bore defined on the rotor shaft and gear shaft respectively.

Abstract: A passive lubrication system for lubricating components of a gearbox is provided. The passive lubrication system includes a first sump, formed in a housing of the gearbox, for holding a lubricant fluid for lubricating components of the gearbox and a second sump formed in the housing of the gearbox, the second sump for capturing lubricant fluid displaced, by rotation of the gear wheel, from the first sump, the second sump having one or more openings for directing lubricant fluid captured in the second sump to the one or more components of the single speed drive system to provide lubrication to the one or more components of the single speed drive system. The passive lubrication system also includes a channel formed in the housing of the gearbox, the channel for channeling lubricant fluid, displaced by rotation of the gear wheel, from the first sump to the second sump.

In one example, the differential device includes a housing, three planetary gears, two side gears, and at least one window. Each of the three planetary gears is mounted on an inner wall of the housing through a pin shaft, the three planetary gears are disposed spaced from each other along a circumferential direction of the housing. The two side gears are disposed on two sides of the three planetary gears along the axial direction of the housing and meshed with the three planetary gears. The main reduction gear drives the housing to rotate around the axial direction of the housing, so that the three planetary gears drive the two side gears to drive two drive shafts respectively.
