Abstract: A distributed low voltage power system is disclosed herein. The system can include a power source generating line voltage power, and a first line voltage cable having a first line voltage end and a second line voltage end, where the first line voltage end is coupled to the power source. The system can also include a first power distribution module (PDM) comprising a first power transfer device and a first output channel. The system can further include a first LV cable having a first LV end and a second LV end, where the first LV end is coupled to the first output channel of the first PDM. The system can also include at least one first LV device operating on the first LV signal, where the second LV end of the first LV cable is coupled to the at least one first LV device.

Abstract: Example embodiments are directed to an enclosure. The enclosure can include at least one wall forming a cavity. The enclosure can also include a conduit receiver disposed in the at least one wall. The conduit receiver can include a housing having an aperture, where the aperture is configured to receive a conduit. The conduit receiver can also include a retaining element disposed within the housing at a distal end of the housing. The conduit receiver can further include a sealing device disposed within the housing at a proximal end of the housing. The conduit receiver can also include a bushing adjacent to the proximal end of the housing, where the bushing extends radially inward from the at least one wall, where the bushing is configured to abut against the conduit when the conduit is received in the aperture, and where the bushing covers an end of the conduit.

Abstract: A lighting system can comprise an edgelit panel, for example a lightguide that may have a panel or slab shape with an edge that is illuminated by an array of light emitting diodes extending along the edge. The edgelit panel may have light directing features associated with the edge. The light directing features can redirect light that is coupled through the edge. The redirected light can emit from a major face of the lightguide to produce a correspondingly redirected pattern of illumination. The resulting illumination of the lighting system can be biased in a particular direction as may be useful for various lighting applications. For example, in a streetlight application, the lighting system can produce illumination that is biased in a street side direction relative to a house side direction.

Abstract: A shroud that includes a body, a cavity, a curved outlet, and at least one non-linear channel. The body can have a top end and a bottom surface, as well as a first end and a second end located opposite the first end. The cavity can be located under the top end of the body and disposed toward the first end. The curved outlet can be disposed toward the second end of the body and have a banana-shaped vent that traverses at least two sides of the body. Each linear channel can include a bent passage, a third end, and a fourth end, where the third end adjoins the cavity, and where the fourth end adjoins a portion of the banana-shaped vent of the curved outlet. The curved outlet and the at least one non-linear channel can prevent substantially all liquids and solids outside the body from entering the cavity.

The lightguide can guide the received light towards an opposing edge of the lightguide and gradually release light to provide illumination. An optic can manage light that reaches the opposing edge of the lightguide, for example via softening, spreading, concentrating, or diffusing the light. The optic can be mounted to or integrated in the opposing edge of the lightguide.
