Abstract:
Computer-based systems and computer-implemented methods are described for monitoring medication events for an individual. Computer-based systems include systems for monitoring medication events relating to an individual, including: circuitry for analyzing data for an identifier of a first medication event for an individual; circuitry for analyzing the data for at least one attribute of an individual; circuitry for analyzing the data for at least one attribute relating to a medication during the first medication event; circuitry for analyzing the data for at least one feature of visual information and at least one feature of non-visual information relating to the individual during the first medication event; circuitry for analyzing the received data for a time associated with the first medication event; circuitry for determining a compliance likelihood for the first medication event based on the analyses of the received data; and circuitry for indicating the determined compliance likelihood.
Abstract:
Wearable injection guides and manufacture and use thereof are described, which include: a rigid material formed to substantially conform in shape to a topography of a body region of an individual, the rigid material substantially impenetrable to an injection needle, and the rigid material including one or more injection needle access regions arranged in a treatment pattern.
Abstract:
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to systems including an internal power transmitter that delivers energy out of a living subject to power at least one external device that is in communication with the internal power transmitter, and related apparatuses, devices, and methods of use.
Abstract:
A support system for supporting a transmission line and for mitigating sagging or swinging of the transmission line may comprise support lines coupled to the transmission line by adjustable risers. The adjustable risers may be dynamically adjustable in length to compensate for the sagging or swinging of the transmission line. Various embodiments of the adjustable risers, support lines, and support system are contemplated. These embodiments may include adjustment mechanisms, sensors, shock absorbers, positioning mechanisms, zero gap connections, guy wires, lateral members, and various different arrangements of the elements.
Abstract:
Described embodiments include a system, method, and computer program product. A described system includes a feature matching circuit that receives a first reference image that includes a representation of a distinctive landmark subsurface feature of a body part of a known patient and a second reference image that includes a representation of a contemporaneously acquired landmark subsurface feature of a body part of a person presenting. A feature matching circuit determines a correspondence between the distinctive landmark subsurface feature of a body part of a known patient and the contemporaneously-acquired landmark subsurface feature of a body part of a person presenting. A data circuit generates informational data indicative of a verification of the person presenting with respect to the known patient, the verification at least partially based on the determined correspondence between the distinctive landmark subsurface feature and the contemporaneously-acquired landmark subsurface feature. A communication circuit outputs the informational data.
Abstract:
A replaceable battery valuation system may include, but is not limited to: at least one replaceable battery module; at least one sensor configured to measure at least one characteristic of the at least one replaceable battery module; and a controller configured to determine a monetary value of at least one replaceable battery module based upon sensor data regarding the at least one characteristic of the at least one replaceable battery module and provide a notification regarding the monetary value.
Abstract:
Embodiments disclosed herein are directed to data acquisition apparatuses configured to acquire insurance-related data from an insurance policyholder for insurance purposes and transmit the insurance-related data directly or indirectly to an insurer of insurance for the insurance policyholder, and related systems and methods.
Abstract:
A system for delivering more than one optical power form and at least one control signal over an optical conduit includes control circuitry for controlling characteristics of the optical power system.
Abstract:
Systems and methods for dynamically defending a site from lightning strikes are provided. The systems and methods involve dynamically altering electrostatic fields above the site and/or dynamically intervening in lightning discharges processes in the vicinity of the site.
Abstract:
An electrical device includes a winding, a primary cooling system, a secondary cooling system, and an actuator. The winding includes an interior portion and an exterior surface. The primary cooling system cools the exterior surface of the winding. The secondary cooling system cools the interior portion of the winding. The actuator is configured to actuate the secondary cooling system in response to a sensed condition of the electrical device or a predicted condition of the electrical device.
