摘要: A system and approach for a vehicle system. The vehicle system may include a vehicle, a propulsion device (e.g., a combustion engine or electric motor), and a controller. The propulsion device may at least partially power the vehicle. The controller may be in communication with the propulsion device and may control the propulsion device according to a target speed of the vehicle. The controller may include a model of energy balances of the vehicle and may use the model to estimate energy losses over a travel horizon of the vehicle. The controller may optimize a cost function over the travel horizon of the vehicle based at least in part on the estimated energy losses to set an actual speed for the vehicle. The estimated energy losses may include one or more of aerodynamic drag, vehicle friction, and conversion efficiency from the propulsion device.

摘要: A method is disclosed for determining a driving range for a motor vehicle. Initially, extra-vehicle data are received, whereby the extra-vehicle data include at least one weather parameter value. A vehicle-dependent parameter value, which depends on the extra-vehicle data, is determined. The driving range for the motor vehicle, which depends on the vehicle-dependent parameter value, is determined. Also disclosed is a motor vehicle that is configured to receive extra-vehicle data, including at least one weather parameter value. The motor vehicle is configured to determine a vehicle-dependent parameter value from the extra-vehicle data. The motor vehicle is configured to determine a driving range from the vehicle-dependent parameter value. In the method and motor vehicle embodiments, the extra-vehicle data are obtained from at least one additional motor vehicle.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention provide a controller for a hybrid electric vehicle having an engine, electric propulsion means powered by energy storage means and electric generator means operable to be driven by the engine to recharge the energy storage means, the controller being operable to: receive a signal indicative of a required hybrid driving mode; receive a signal indicative of a state of charge of the energy storage means; determine which of a plurality of powertrain operating modes is appropriate for vehicle operation at a given moment, the powertrain operating modes including an engine charging mode in which the engine drives the generator means to recharge the energy storage means and an electric vehicle (EV) mode in which the engine is switched off and the electric propulsion means is operable to develop drive torque to drive the vehicle; and cause the powertrain to assume the appropriate powertrain operating mode and the required hybrid driving mode, wherein the controller is operable to determine which of the plurality of powertrain operating modes is appropriate for vehicle operation in dependence at least in part on the signal indicative of the instant state of charge of the energy storage means and a reference value of state of charge, the controller being operable to set the reference value of state of charge to one of a plurality of different respective values in dependence on the signal indicative of the required hybrid driving mode.

摘要: Disclosed is a method for controlling a drive device (3, 203) of a hybrid vehicle (1, 201), wherein a performance-oriented mode or a consumption-oriented mode can be selected for the drive apparatus, wherein the method for a selected consumption-oriented mode in the case of a first condition comprises: controlling the drive device in a parallel boost hybrid operation in which the internal combustion engine (5, 205) and additionally the first electric engine and/or the second electric engine brings about a drive torque until a criterion is fulfilled, depending on the time duration of the operation and/or the energy conversion in the parallel boost hybrid operation, and in the event the criterion is fulfilled, switching to a serial hybrid operation in which the drive torque is brought about by means of the second electric engine (11, 211) and the internal combustion engine (5, 205) drives the first electric engine (9, 209) for generating electrical energy.

A value that provides an estimate of the vehicle frontal area is then generated based on the one or more operating parameters.

For instance, in one example embodiment, an apparatus may calculate miles traveled by the vehicles along a predefined route and may calculate a fuel usage of the vehicles for traveling along the route to obtain one or more fuel values. The apparatus may also analyze data indicating the miles traveled and the fuel values to determine fuel efficiency values corresponding to the vehicles traveling the route. The apparatus may also determine an estimate of an amount of carbon emissions for each of the vehicles based in part on applying at least one carbon emission value to respective fuel values associated with corresponding determined fuel efficiency values.

The lane change system includes a sensor unit that senses a rotational angular velocity of a turn signal lever of a subject vehicle, an electric field signal of a gear lever of the subject vehicle, and distances between the subject vehicle and neighboring vehicles. A processor then sets a driving mode using the rotational angular velocity, the electric field signal, and the distances between the subject vehicle and the neighboring vehicles, generates a lane change path based on the driving mode, and executes a lane change of the subject vehicle.

The method comprising the steps of: based on a vehicle configuration of the present vehicle, setting a threshold speed for the vehicle; obtaining a set speed of the vehicle; comparing the set speed to the threshold speed; if the set speed is below the threshold speed; determining a desired reference speed of the vehicle between the set speed and the threshold speed; and adjusting the actual speed of the vehicle toward the reference speed.
