    Abstract: A method for assembling a stone on a setting support, the stone being cut to exhibit a table, a crown, a girdle and a pavilion, including the steps of: providing a substrate coated with a pattern including an electrically conductive layer covered with a resin layer, the pattern having an inner contour delimiting a hole through the coated substrate and an outer contour corresponding to the outer contour of the desired setting support; removing the resin layer; after dissolution of the resin layer, positioning the stone in the through hole, the stone resting on the electrically conductive layer; and electrodepositing a metal layer on the electrically conductive layer to form the setting support, in order to make the stone integral with the metal layer.

    Abstract: A timepiece with a mechanical movement which includes an indicator mechanism of at least one time data item, a mechanical resonator forming a mechanical oscillator which paces the running of the indicator mechanism, and a regulation device to prevent a potential time drift in the running of the indicator mechanism. The regulation device is formed by a master oscillator and a mechanical braking device of the mechanical resonator, this mechanical braking device being arranged to be able to apply periodically to the mechanical resonator braking pulses at a braking frequency determined by the master oscillator. The system, formed of the mechanical resonator and the mechanical braking device, is configured so as to enable the mechanical braking device to be able to start the braking pulses at any position of the mechanical resonator. The braking pulses have a duration less than one quarter of a set-point period.

    Abstract: A motor drive unit for driving a direct current electric motor including a moving part equipped with permanent magnets. The motor drive unit, which is powered by a voltage supply source, includes a switch circuit, an inductor circuit and a capacitor circuit including a set of capacitors. By selectively opening and closing the switches of the switch circuit, a series of consecutive low energy pulses can be generated such that the power consumption of the motor drive circuit is minimized.

    Abstract: Universal device for the winding and time-setting of a watch with oscillating resonator, including a rewinding and state corrector, including an automatic winding mechanism, state measurer relative to a reference, stoppage monitor to observe the stoppage of the resonator, running monitor of the resonator, controller to identify the stoppage time displayed, compute the time remaining until a synchronisation between the actual time indicated by the reference and the stoppage time, and, when this remaining time has elapsed, activate the winding mechanism to rewind the storage means of the watch, and, following activation of the winding mechanism, await the determination of the stabilisation of the nominal running of the resonato by these monitors before allowing a fine adjustment of the state of the watch.

    Abstract: A mechanical oscillator, formed of a mechanical resonator and a device for maintaining oscillation, and an auxiliary oscillator forming a reference time base including a synchronisation device arranged to slave the medium frequency of the mechanical oscillator on that of the auxiliary oscillator. The synchronisation device includes an electromagnetic braking device which is formed of a coil and at least one permanent magnet and arranged such that an induced voltage is generated between the terminals of the coil in each alternation of the oscillation of the mechanical resonator. The synchronisation device is arranged to be able to reduce momentarily the impedance between the terminals of the coil during distinct time intervals, any two successive time intervals exhibiting between the respective starts thereof a time distance substantially equal to a positive whole number multiplied by half of a set-point period for the mechanical oscillator.
