Abstract: A base station may configure at least a first downlink transmission in a regular downlink burst with the first numerology for transmitting at least a portion of a data channel to a UE according to a numerology of a service used for data channel transmission. The base station also may configure at least a portion of a second downlink transmission in a regular downlink burst with a second numerology for transmitting a synchronization signal to the UE. A UE that receives the downlink regular burst may demodulate and decode the symbols in the received transmissions according to the numerology associated with each symbol.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a transmitter may identify a set of resource elements on which to transmit a reference signal based at least in part on a numerology being used by the transmitter and at least one of a maximum system numerology or a minimum system numerology; and transmit the reference signal on the identified set of resource elements. In some aspects, a receiver may identify a set of resource elements from which to obtain a reference signal based at least in part on a numerology being used by the receiver and at least one of a maximum system numerology or a minimum system numerology; and obtain the reference signal from the identified set of resource elements. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment may identify a scheduling window associated with acquiring a system information message, wherein the scheduling window is based at least in part on control channel monitoring occasions associated with a control channel, wherein the control channel is to schedule a data channel that includes the system information message; and receive the control channel based at least in part on the scheduling window, wherein the control channel is received within the scheduling window. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques and apparats relating to designs for the remaining minimum system information (RMSI) control resource set (CORESET) and the other system information (OSI) CORESET. In certain aspects, a wireless communication device (e.g., user equipment) is enabled to determine the location of Type0-PDCCH common search space CORESET and the OSI CORESET in the frequency and time domains based on the location of the synchronization signal block (SSB) transmissions in the frequency and time domains. Determining the location of the RMSI CORESET and the OSI CORESET frequency and time resources enables the UE to receive the RMSI CORESET and the OSI CORESET, respectively.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may generate a sequence for use in scrambling a PBCH. The base station may then partition the sequence into sub-sequences based on a number of SS blocks in a SS block group. The base station may then apply each sub-sequence of the sequence as a scrambling code for the bits associated with the PBCH of a different SS block within a SS block group and transmit at least one SS block scrambled with one of the sub-sequences. A user equipment may decode the PBCH based on the sequence.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A base station may determine a group set of at least one synchronization signal (SS) block group to be transmitted within a SS burst set. The base station may identify a group transmission configuration index associated with the group set, and then transmit the group transmission configuration index to a user equipment. The base station may also include an indication of which SS blocks in each transmitted SS block group are transmitted. A user equipment (UE) may determine transmitted SS blocks based on the group set index or the indication of which SS blocks in each transmitted SS block group are transmitted.

Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure describe receiving synchronization signals in wireless communications. A block of synchronization signals can be received from a base station in a first time interval. A beam identifier and a redundancy version associated with the block of synchronization signals can be determined. A broadcast channel can be received based at least in part on a timing associated with the beam identifier. The broadcast channel can be descrambled based at least in part on a scrambling code associated with the redundancy version
