A hard disk drive holding apparatus comprising a support, positioning pins, securing pins and swivel arms. The support comprises a supporting surface and side panels. The side panels have holes located thereon and are erected on the supporting surface. The positioning pins are located on the supporting surface to be inserted into the positioning holes on the bottom of the hard disk drive. The securing pins pass through the holes on the side panels and engage into the securing holes on the sides of the hard disk drive. The swivel arms are attached to the securing pins and pivotally connected on the support.

A stereoscopic inner spacer composed of paper materials is described. The stereoscopic inner spacer is formed by buckling and folding. The stereoscopic inner spacer may be put in a packaging carton to provide separating compartments to support and hold objects in the packaging carton, thereby preventing the objects from damage caused by impacts and prevent the objects from damage resulting from mutual collisions.

The invention discloses an intelligent navigation method comprising the following steps of: (a) defining a system circle based on a current position and a target position; (b) searching a plurality of paths between the current position and the target position from the system circle; (c) for each path, calculating a total of directional paths and a total of path-influenced factors; (d) summing up the total of directional paths and the total of path-influenced factors for each path to obtain a plurality of summations; and (e) selecting a path corresponding to the minimum of all summations to be the optimal path.

The present invention relates to a method for assisting an application, executed in a processing platform where a first operation system is installed, in controlling a USB device plugged in a second operation system rather than the first operation system. First, under the first operation system, the method is used for receiving a USB request block in a first format, translating the USB request block in the first format into the USB request block in a second format native to the second operation system in accordance with an algorithm, and transmitting the USB request block in the second format out. Next, under the second operation system, the method is used for controlling the USB device in accordance with the USB request block in the second format.

A rotating parity redundant array of independent disk (RAID) and a method for storing parity of the same are provided. The rotating parity RAID comprises a first˜a third disk. The first disk has A1˜Am blocks for storing A1˜Am data respectively. The second disk has B1˜Bm blocks for storing B1˜Bm data respectively. The third disk has C1˜Cm blocks for storing C1˜Cm data respectively. The Cn+k data is an nth parity data obtained from the An data and the Bn data. The Bn+k+1 data is an (n+1)th parity data obtained from the Cn+1 data and the An+1 data. The An+k+2 data is an (n+2)th parity data obtained from the Bn+2 data and the Cn+2 data.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a positioning system utilizing TOA or RSS algorithm to position a mobile device with a two-point positioning method. When the invention is applied to the two-point positioning method, there are several advantages, listed as follows: (1) more precise; (2) farther distance and range while positioning; (3) lower cost; and (4) more reliable than AOA algorithm.

A firmware updating system and a method for updating the same are provided. The firmware updating system comprises an image updating device and an embedded device. The image updating device comprises a first storage device and a merging module. The first storage device is for storing a first header and a first file system. The merging system is for merging the first header and the first file system to output a first image file. The embedded device comprises a second storage device and a self-updating module. The second storage device is for storing a second image file. The second image file includes a second header, a second file system, and a third file system. The self-updating module is for updating the second file system of the second image file as the first file system according to the first image file.

A paper box structure formed of a paper material includes a bottom plate, a front plate, a rear plate, two side plates, a partition plate and a cover plate. The front plate is connected to one side of the bottom plate to form a front wall. The rear plate is connected to one side of the bottom plate opposite to the front plate to form a buffer space as a rear wall. Two side plates are connected to another two opposite sides of the bottom plate to form buffer spaces as side walls. A frame body is formed from the front plate, rear plate and side plates. The partition plate is disposed within the frame body to divide the frame body into upper and lower portions. The cover plate covers the buffer space formed by the bottom plate and the rear plate, and then the top of the frame body.
