    摘要： An insulation medium for surrounding metal conductors in a high voltage electrical apparatus comprises (1) a liquid organopolysiloxane and a minor amount of (2) (a) phenylsubstituted polysiloxanes, (b) see.-alkyl-substituted aromatic hydrocarbons having a boiling point, at atmospheric pressure, of not less than 200 DEG C., or (c) ring-substituted aromatic hydrocarbons of the formula wherein A is an aromatic nucleus, R1, R2 and R3 are alkyl, cycloalkyl or aryl radicals and n is an integer from 1 to 6, as antigassing agents. Siloxane (1) disclosed is a liquid dimethylpolysiloxane. Among the antigassing agents disclosed are phenylmethylsiloxanes, di-, tri- and tetra-isopropylbenzenes, phenylcyclohexane, b -(cyclohexyl) naphthalene and t-butylbenzenes, -naphthalenes and -anthracenes. Examples are given.
