摘要: A display device according to an embodiment includes a display, a first power module that outputs a first power, and a second power module that outputs a second power. The first power and the second power are supplied to the display. The first power module is configured to cut off the first power when an amount of input current exceeds an overload criterion, to identify whether the second power module is abnormal based on the second power, and to change the overload criterion from a first threshold current amount to a second threshold current amount that exceeds the first threshold current amount, in an abnormal state of the second power module.

摘要: An optical device includes a plurality of first Si waveguides that split and output an optical signal received from an input unit, plurality of LN waveguides that are included in a LN modulator and that transmit the optical signals that are split and output by the first Si waveguides, and a plurality of second Si waveguides that multiplex and output the associated optical signals that are output from the plurality of respective LN waveguides. The device includes an output unit that outputs the optical signal multiplexed by the second Si waveguides, and a plurality of Mach-Zehnder interferometers disposed on each of waveguides connected by the first Si waveguides, the LN waveguides, and the second Si waveguides, respectively. When there are differences among waveguide lengths of the LN waveguides, the device is configured such that the optical path lengths of the waveguides for the respective Mach-Zehnder interferometers are equalized.

摘要: A computer-implemented method of predicting energy use for a route including inputting map data of roads included in K trips in a geographical area, predictors of rate of energy use along the roads, and energy consumption data of the K trips. The method includes dividing each of the roads in the map data for all the trips into segments of length measure λi; grouping the segments from the trips into a number N of clusters, using an algorithm to build a model predicting the weights Wj based on solving a system of equations, one per trip, assigning the predicted weight applied to the cluster in which the segment was grouped and storing a segment ID with the corresponding cluster ID or predicted rate of energy use Yi to allow prediction of energy use for a route in the geographical area incorporating one or more of the segments.

摘要: An optical receiver includes an optical amplifier that amplifies a received optical signal containing multiple wavelengths, a monitor circuit that monitors light intensities of the demultiplexed optical signal, a processor, and a memory having information representing a relationship between a total incident light intensity of the optical signal incident onto the optical amplifier and gains of the optical amplifier for the respective wavelengths. The processor repeats first calculation for determining the gains of the respective wavelengths from the memory, based on a drive current for driving the optical amplifier and an estimation value of the total incident light intensity of the optical signal, second calculation for calculating the incident light intensities of the respective wavelengths of the optical signal based on the gains and the monitored light intensities, and third calculation to calculate the total incident light intensity of the optical signal, until the total incident light intensity converges.

摘要: A refrigerator includes a first refrigerator including a first cabinet and a second refrigerator including a second cabinet, and operating independently from the first refrigerator. A first connector is installed on the first cabinet; and a second connector is installed on the second cabinet to correspond to the first connector. The second connector is configured to be coupled to the first connector, such that in a state in which the first connector and the second connector are coupled to each other, a movement of the first cabinet in a first direction with respect to the second cabinet is allowed, and a movement of the first cabinet in a second direction with respect to the second cabinet is restricted, with the second direction being perpendicular to the first direction.
