摘要: An image processing device that enables an occupant of a mobile body, such as a vehicle, to intuitively understand the relationship between an outside image displayed on a display device and an eye position. The device includes: a 3D position information acquisition unit that acquires information on the position of an occupant's eye; an image acquisition unit that acquires an outside image; a cropping unit that crops a region image from the outside image, based on the eye position information; a projection image generation unit that generates a projection image of a 3D model having an opening, as viewed from the position of the eye; an image compositing unit that composites the region image and the projection image such that the region image appears in the opening of the projection image on the screen; and an image output unit that outputs a composite image to the display device.

摘要: An Augmented Reality (AR) display device interoperating with a vehicle and a method for operating the same are disclosed. An AR display device interoperating with a vehicle according to the present disclosure can predict a context in which a problem may occur by additionally considering an external resource in addition to map data and sensing data as internal resources while the vehicle travels, and display the predicted context by varying an AR graphic interface in real time, thereby intuitively notifying a driver of the predicted context and a countermeasure therefor. At this time, an AR object separated from the AR graphic interface not only displays a guide for the predicted context but also provides a corresponding guide for safe driving in the predicted context.

摘要: Systems and methods are provided, having sensing unit(s) configured to capture images of a surrounding of a vehicle, and a processing unit connected to a database which is configured to store imaging data relating to the surrounding of the vehicle together with metadata relating to capturing parameters of the stored imaging data. The processing unit enhances the captured images with stored imaging data according to a correspondence of metadata with vehicle situations, for example, according to a relation between capturing parameters of different sensing units. Sensing unit(s) may be gated infrared to indicate specified reflectivity parameters of regions in the captured images. Sensing unit(s) may comprise a controller applying changing patterned filters to the pixel array to enhance visibility and other image features. Multiple sensing units with gateable infrared sensors may communicate using modulated illumination spots.

摘要: When blending individual vehicle-mounted camera images into a coherent composite image of the vehicle surroundings, objects in the respective images are analyzed to determine the presence of a pedestrian. When the individual images are blended to form the composite image, multiple pedestrian shadow views of the pedestrian are replaced with background pixels to erase the pedestrian, and a semi-symbolic graphical representation of the pedestrian is superimposed at the location of the actual pedestrian in the composite image. The graphical representation is proportional to the pedestrian in the composite image and includes features unique to the pedestrian it represents. The composite image with the graphical representation is then presented to a viewer.

摘要: An image processing device according to an embodiment includes an image acquisition unit, an information acquisition unit, a generation unit, a composition unit, a determination unit, and a display control unit. The image acquisition unit acquires a captured image where an image of an environment of a vehicle is captured by an image-capturing device. The information acquisition unit acquires positional information regarding a detected position of an obstacle that exists in an environment of the vehicle. The generation unit generates a virtual viewpoint image where an environment of the vehicle is viewed from a virtual viewpoint, based on the captured image. The composition unit composites a notification image that provides notification of existence of the obstacle at the detected position with the virtual viewpoint image. The display control unit controls a display format of the notification image that is composited with the virtual viewpoint image, based on the positional information.
