Abstract:
As a weighing device which can not only make water and dust less likely to reach the sensor unit, but also simply discharge water having reached that position if any, and which further can improve the maintenance workability of water-washing of the sensor unit, an electronic balance includes a weighing pan, a load cell that measures a load of a measuring object placed on the weighing pan, and a scale main body case that supports the load cell. The load cell is disposed outside and over the scale main body case, a cylindrical transparent cover that covers the whole side face of the load cell is integrally provided for the weighing pan, and the lower end of the transparent cover is disposed with a clearance over an upper face of the scale main body case.

Abstract:
A low-cost, compact, high-precision axial force sensor is provided. The axial force sensor includes a pair of parallel pressing plates and a strain gauge sandwiched therebetween. The strain gauge includes a plurality of strain-sensitive resistive elements around its periphery, and is provided with a spacer that transmits a pressing force from the pressing plates to some of the strain-sensitive elements but blocks the pressing force to the rest of the strain-sensitive elements. The output signal of the strain-sensitive elements blocked from the pressing force provide an accurate baseline to compare the output signal of the strain-elements subjected to the pressing force. The spacer has a uniform pattern of open and closed portions. On the strain gauge, the strain-sensitive elements are provided at both the open and closed portions of the spacer.
Abstract:
To provide an electric pipette in which the impact resistance against the dropping of the electric pipette is elevated, the external breakage of the device and the damage of operation performances are reduced, and the discharging performance of the device is maintained and ensured. An electric pipette 100 including a main casing 1, an operation switch 14, a hand grip 15, a display-operation section 9, a release switch 12 and a finger rest 16, in which at least one shock absorber 201 to 206 disposed on at least one apex of at least one line among a line LF, a line LB, a line LL, a line LR and a line LU, which are prepared by drawing lines between two or more projecting sites in each of a front surface 100F, a back surface 100B, a left side surface 100L, a right side surface 100R and an upper surface 100U.
Abstract:
Provided is a new method to obtain a shear rate of a fluid and Provided are a program and a device for the method. In the method, a pair of vibrators (1,1) are vibrated by an electromagnetic drive (2) and a viscosity of the sample liquid (9) is calculated by measuring a driving current of a coil (2b), which has a step (S1) of calculating the viscosity (η) of the sample liquid (9), a step (S2) of calculating a driving force (F) on a center of a wet part of the vibrator from the driving current (I), and a step (S3) of calculating a shear stress (S) exerted on the sample liquid from the driving force (F) and a liquid contact area of the vibrator (A), wherein the shear rate (D) is calculated from a ratio between the shear stress (S) and the viscosity (S4).
Abstract:
A load cell includes a flexure element having a Roberval mechanism in which the respective ends of a pair of top and bottom parallel beams including a thin section are integrated in a fixed portion and in a movable portion, and a stopper for preventing an overload disposed between the pair of the top and bottom parallel beams by being fixed to the fixed portion. The front portion of the stopper is disposed in a concave portion for engaging the stopper formed on the inner side surface of the movable portion and extending in the width direction, and the front portion of the stopper of which a width is larger than the movable portion projects outwardly in the width direction of the movable portion.
Abstract:
Provided is a windshield for a balance, for which opening and closing doors of the windshield are smoothly moved without wobbling, dust or the like is unlikely to accumulate on the part of guide rails that guide the opening and closing doors, and cleaning is easy. Upper portions of the pair of opening and closing doors of the windshield are respectively suspended by upper frames provided along respective side portions of an upper surface door, and the opening and closing doors are reciprocated by air cylinders by being guided by guide rails each formed of a horizontal portion and a vertical portion. On the respective horizontal portions, projections that restrict lower ends of the respective opening and closing doors from being displaced in separating directions from the vertical portions are provided along movement paths of the respective opening and closing doors.
Abstract:
A weighing apparatus includes a level gauge, a weight sensor, a accelerometer configured to detect acceleration changes of two axes of x, y on a virtual horizontal plane of the weight sensor, a storage unit configured to store reference outputs of the two axes of the accelerometer when the weight sensor is horizontal and at a reference position and temperature, and an arithmetic processing unit, where the level gauge includes a light emitting unit configured to make the inside luminescent, the arithmetic processing unit compares current outputs of the accelerometer of the weighing apparatus with the reference outputs, and detects an output change occurring in the x and/or y as a tilt of the weighing apparatus, and the light emitting unit is configured to be capable of switching between a first operation mode when the weighing apparatus is horizontal and a second operation mode when a tilt is detected.
Abstract:
A windshield for a balance which has a door that can be automatically opened and closed or half opened and half closed is provided. The windshield includes doors to which air cylinders are joined as driving means, sensors for monitoring movements of the doors, pressure sensors configured to monitor a pressure of air to be supplied to the air cylinders of the driving means, and a control unit configured to stop an air supply to the air cylinders when a pressure of air monitored by the pressure sensor exceeds a predetermined value. Stoppers are disposed on movement paths of the doors to block movement, and when air pressure inside the air cylinder increases to the predetermined value due to contact with the stopper, the door stops. The door can be freely fully opened and half-opened according to the position of the stopper.
Abstract:
