    摘要: A brake cylinder of a motor vehicle, in particular a pneumatically actuatable brake cylinder of a commercial vehicle, includes a first housing part and a second housing part. An actuation tappet actuates a brake lever of a brake application device, which actuation tappet protrudes from a spring chamber of the first housing part. A membrane, which divides an interior bounded by the first housing part and the second housing part into a pressure chamber and the spring chamber, is provided, as well as a return spring for returning the actuation tappet from a braking position to a non-braking position. The return spring is arranged in a loaded manner between a housing bottom of the first housing part and a plate, which is arranged on the spring chamber side of the membrane and is connected to the actuation tappet. The return spring is provided with at least one elongation-measuring element.

The flexplate (20) includes a strain sensor (28) for measuring the shear strain field on the flexplate (20). The flexplate (20) defines a recess (30) in which the strain sensor (28) is located, the recess (30) being defined in an axial surface (32) of one of the radial webs (24) such that, in use, the sensor (28) lies at least proximate to one of the local neutral axes (34) relating to one of a plurality of unwanted strains (36) to which the flexplate (20) is subject in use.

    摘要: A low-cost, compact, high-precision axial force sensor is provided. The axial force sensor includes a pair of parallel pressing plates and a strain gauge sandwiched therebetween. The strain gauge includes a plurality of strain-sensitive resistive elements around its periphery, and is provided with a spacer that transmits a pressing force from the pressing plates to some of the strain-sensitive elements but blocks the pressing force to the rest of the strain-sensitive elements. The output signal of the strain-sensitive elements blocked from the pressing force provide an accurate baseline to compare the output signal of the strain-elements subjected to the pressing force. The spacer has a uniform pattern of open and closed portions. On the strain gauge, the strain-sensitive elements are provided at both the open and closed portions of the spacer.
