    摘要: A cash drawer has a weighing module comprising a plurality of cups; the cash drawer has a front and a rear. The cups are arranged such that four prone note cups, five coin cups and two vertical note cups are provided. The four prone note cups are arranged rearwards of the five coin cups and forwards of the two vertical note cups. A weighing module for a cash drawer is also provided, which comprises a plurality of note cups and coin cups arranged on respective load cells. At least some of the cups are movable relative to respective load cells on which they are arranged.

    摘要: A product display surface supports at least one product being offered for sale thereon. This product display surface has a weight-sensitive RFID tag associated therewith. This tag has at least one transmission element that moves with respect to a remaining portion of the tag as a function of weight being supported by the product display surface. So configured, the weight-sensitive RFID tag transmits at a first level when there are no products (or only a few products) on the product display surface and at a second level when there are at least a predetermined number of products on the product display surface, the first transmission level being less than the second transmission level. An RFID-tag reader reads the weight-sensitive RFID tag and a control circuit determines when the first product display surface lacks sufficient displayed inventory as a function, at least in part, of the weight-sensitive RFID tag's transmission strength.

    摘要: A receiving box receives items for later retrieval by an enterprise. Upon an amount of received items being detected within the receiving box, a report is sent to the enterprise. A detector detects an amount of the received items in the receiving box and outputs a corresponding signal. A controller receives the signal and determines based thereon whether a triggering event has occurred. The triggering event represents that the receiving box has an amount of received items therein such that a person or service should be dispatched from the enterprise to the receiving box to empty same. A reporter is employed by the controller to report the triggering event as a message to the enterprise upon the controller determining that the triggering event has occurred.
