Abstract:
A door lock includes a main body including a transmission assembly and a positioning assembly. The positioning assembly includes an inside seat and an outside seat. An inside rose liner is mounted around the inside seat and includes two positioning holes. An inside rose is mounted around the inside rose liner. An anti-torque ring is mounted around the outside seat and includes two lugs formed thereon. Two positioning posts respectively project from the lugs and extend along a longitudinal direction of the anti-torque ring. An outside rose liner includes an inner threading that is engaged with an outer threading of the outside seat. The outside rose liner includes a side with an annular recessed portion for receiving the anti-torque ring. The annular recessed portion includes two recess extensions for positioning the lugs of the anti-torque ring. An outside rose is securely mounted around the outside rose liner to rotate move therewith. Rotation of the outside rose causes longitudinal movement of the outside rose and the outside rose liner relative to the outside seat to suit different door thickness.
Abstract:
A plunger type rotary chuck assembly includes a main seat in which bearings are mounted for rotatably supporting a main shaft. An inner periphery of an axial hole of the main seat includes a number of fluid passages A number of piston chambers are provided around and communicated with the axial hole of the main seat. Piston rods are mounted in the piston chambers and coupled to discs that urge clutches or a follower ring to move a spring chuck. The spring chuck includes an outer inclined surface that may disengage from or engage with an inner inclined surface of the main shaft or of the follower ring, thereby allowing the spring chuck to release or hold a work piece to be processed.
Abstract:
An outside handle assembly of a lock includes an outside lever handle, an outside handle spindle secured to the outside lever handle to rotate therewith and including a first slot defined in a periphery thereof, and an actuating spindle mounted in the outside handle spindle and operably connected to a retractor. The actuating spindle includes a second slot aligned with the first slot of the outside handle spindle. A catch is mounted in the actuating spindle and has a first end pivoted to the actuating spindle and a second end. A tapping plate is slidably mounted in the actuating spindle and connected to the tail piece to move therewith. When the lock is in an unlocked status, the outside handle spindle and the actuating spindle rotate synchronously, as the second end of the catch extends through the second slot of the actuating spindle into the first slot of the outside handle spindle. When the push button is pressed, the tapping plate is moved to engage with a hooked portion of the first end of the catch and thus pivots the catch during the sliding movement of the tapping plate. The second end of the catch is thus disengaged from the first slot of the outside handle spindle to allow free rotational movement of the outside lever handle.
Abstract:
A freewheeling clutching design for enabling a freewheeling movement of an outer door handle with respect to a latch assembly of a lock when the lock is in a locked state. A clutch column is axially movable to engage with or disengage from a latch assembly by way of turning a control member which simultaneously moves axially. The outer door-handle performs a normal operation of opening a door when the clutch column engages the latch assembly, while it performs the freewheel turning movement to prevent an undesirable transfer of force to internal components of the lock when the clutch column engages the latch assembly.
Abstract:
An auxiliary lock includes a cylinder which includes a tailpiece projected from one end thereof, a cylinder housing firmly receiving the cylinder therein and including a hollow protrusion projected from a shoulder thereof, a trim rotatably receiving the cylinder housing therein, a ring defining an opening at a center thereof and including a first flange extending around the opening and a second flange formed around a periphery of the ring at an opposite surface from which the first flange projects. The disk-like hollow protrusion is received in the opening of the ring, with the shoulder of the cylinder housing being in contact with the ring and an end portion of the trim being rotatably received in the second flange of the ring. A first engagement plate is engaged to a second engagement plate which is installed with a knob. The knob is engaged to the tailpiece of the cylinder and is manually controllable to rotate the tailpiece, which in turns rotates the cylinder to unlock or lock the auxiliary lock. The first engagement plate and the second engagement plate including the knob are installed in an inside surface of a door, while the cylinder, the cylinder housing, the trim, and the ring are installed on an outside surface of the door. The trim, when rotated by an external force, will rotate with respect to the ring but will not drive the cylinder to rotate.
Abstract:
A lock sub-assembly for a lock which is mainly situated at an exterior side of the lock. The lock sub-assembly comprises an exterior hub configured to rotate together with an exterior long handle and be fixed to an exterior side of a lock chassis, a handle spindle rotatably received within the exterior hub, a restricting block fixedly secured within the exterior hub, the restricting block disposed to. effectuate a limited turning movement of the handle spindle with respect to the exterior hub, an actuating spindle extending through both the restricting block and the handle spindle and having a roll-back portion adapted to operate a retractor, and a mechanism for releasably coupling the actuating spindle to the handle spindle. With this construction, when the actuating spindle and the handle spindle are not rotatably coupled together, the exterior long handle together with the handle spindle performs such a turning movement that no other constituting elements are affected thereby.
Abstract:
A relief valve with abnormal pressure indicator means, including a valve rod with a valve flap moved in a casing to close/open the passage, a cap mounted on the valve rod outside the casing, and an indicator coupled to the valve rod and having a display face shaded by the cap, the indicator being forced to fall by the weight of a weight when the valve flap is forced to open the passage by ah abnormal high pressure, causing the display of the indicator to be shown.
Abstract:
A speech recognition device and a method thereof are adapted to recognize a Chinese word. The speech recognition device includes a lexicon model, a language model, a speech recognition module, and a parsing module. The lexicon model keeps a plurality of words. The speech recognition module performs a speech recognition processing on a voice signal conforming to a syntax structure of Chinese word description. The speech recognition processing searches words related to the Chinese word description from the lexicon model according to a feature of the Chinese word description, and produces a literal word series in digital data form by referring a syntax combination probability. The language model based on the syntax structure of Chinese word description provides the syntax combination probability according to combination relations between the searched words. The parsing module analyzes the syntax structure of the literal word series for retrieving the Chinese word.
Abstract:
An electronic apparatus with a multi-mode interactive operation method is disclosed. The electronic apparatus includes a display unit, a selecting unit, a voice recognition unit and a control unit. The display unit displays a frame. The selecting unit selects an arbitrary area of the frame on the display unit. The voice recognition unit recognizes a voice signal as a control command. The control unit processes data according to the control command on the content of the arbitrary area selected. A multi-mode interactive operation method is disclosed herein as well.
Abstract:
A lock includes a handle, a hub, and a spindle rotatably mounted in the hub and coupled to the handle to turn therewith. A transmission member is fixed to the handle to turn therewith. The transmission member is mounted around and not rotatably engaged with the spindle. The transmission member is stopped by the hub after the handle has been turned through an angle, transmitting a torque from the handle to the hub via the transmission member. Thus, impact from the handle can be partly transmitted to the hub and then to a door on which the lock is mounted, instead of completely transmitted to the spindle. Damage to the spindle is, thus, avoided.
