Abstract: A skid for supporting a reciprocating pump assembly, the reciprocating pump assembly including a power end frame assembly having a pair of end plate segments and a plurality of middle plate segments disposed between the end plate segments. The end plate segments each have at least a pair of feet and the middle plate segments each having at least one foot. The skid includes a base and a plurality of pads extending from the base. At least a portion of the plurality of pads correspond to the end plate segment feet and at least another portion of the plurality of pads correspond to the at least one foot of each middle plate segment.

Abstract: A dual circuit lubrication system for a power end of a reciprocating pump that includes a lubrication pump that supplies lubrication fluid to a high pressure lubrication circuit and a low pressure lubrication circuit. The high pressure lubrication circuit is fluidly coupled to a crankshaft to supply lubrication fluid to journal surfaces associated with the crankshaft at a first lubrication fluid pressure. The crankshaft drives a crosshead coupled to a plunger to displace fluid from a fluid end of the reciprocating pump. The low pressure lubrication circuit is fluidly coupled to supply the lubrication fluid to a plurality of roller bearing surfaces associated with the crankshaft at a second lubrication fluid pressure. The first lubrication fluid pressure is greater than the second lubrication fluid pressure.

Abstract: An apparatus according to which a subterranean formation in which a wellbore extends is hydraulically fractured, the apparatus comprising first and second manifolds, the first manifold including first and second flow lines adapted to be in fluid communication with first and second pumps, respectively, the first pump being adapted to pressurize fluid received from the first flow line, and the second pump being adapted to pressurize fluid received from the second flow line, and the second manifold including a third flow line adapted to convey pressurized fluid from the first and second pumps to the wellbore to hydraulically fracture the subterranean formation in which the wellbore extends. The apparatus is adapted to be connected to another apparatus used to hydraulically fracture the subterranean formation in which the wellbore extends by moving one, or both, of the first and second flow lines relative to the third flow line.

Abstract: An apparatus is adapted to be coupled to a component of a system associated with a wellhead. The apparatus includes a band adapted to be coupled to the component; a holder coupled to the band; an electronic identifying device attached to the holder and adapted to identify the component; and an identifying component coupled to the band. The identifying component visually conveys information about at least one of: the electronic identifying device, and the component to which the band is adapted to be coupled. The system associated with the wellhead is a system for pumping fluid to the wellhead. In one embodiment, the electronic identifying device is, or includes, an RFID chip.

Abstract: A fluid delivery device for a hydraulic fracturing system includes a fluid conduit having a fracking fluid outlet configured to be fluidly connected to a well head for delivering a fracking fluid to the well head. The fluid conduit includes a base fluid inlet configured to be fluidly connected to the outlet of a frac pump such that the fluid conduit is configured to receive a flow of base fluid from the frac pump. An injection system is fluidly connected to the fluid conduit downstream from the base fluid inlet and upstream from the fracking fluid outlet. The injection system is configured to be fluidly connected to a material source. The injection system is configured to inject at least one material of the fracking fluid from the material source into the fluid conduit downstream from the frac pump to generate the fracking fluid within the fluid conduit.

Abstract: A suction cover assembly for a reciprocating pump includes a suction cover nut having a nut face and a thread configured to threadably connect the suction cover nut to a fluid cylinder of the reciprocating pump. The suction cover assembly includes a suction cover having a cover face. The suction cover is configured to be held by the fluid cylinder such that the cover face opposes the nut face of the suction cover nut. The suction cover includes first and second seals having a leakage trap defined therebetween. The leakage trap is configured to trap leakage pressure during operation of the reciprocating pump. The suction cover includes at least one leakage channel that is configured to channel the leakage pressure from the leakage trap to an interface between the cover face and the nut face.

Abstract: A power end frame assembly for a reciprocating pump that includes a first and second end plate segment each including annular bearing support surfaces configured to support a crankshaft bearing assembly. At least one middle plate segment is disposed between the first and second end plate segments and includes an annular bearing support surface configured to support a crankshaft bearing assembly. The annular bearing support surfaces of the first and second end plate segments and the at least one middle plate segment each have a diameter and are coaxially aligned. The diameter of at least one of the first and second end plate segments is different from the diameter of the at least one middle plate segment to facilitate insertion and removal of the crankshaft bearing assembly from the power end frame assembly.

Abstract: A manifold through which a fluid is adapted to flow. The manifold includes an elongated member at least partially defining a fluid chamber through which the fluid is adapted to flow, a longitudinal axis, and an interior surface; a fluid liner disposed within the fluid chamber and adapted to dynamically respond to pressure fluctuations within the fluid chamber as the fluid flows therethrough; and a wear indicator positioned radially between the interior surface of the elongated member and the longitudinal axis. The fluid liner is subject to wear and/or erosion due to the flow of the fluid therethrough and/or the dynamic response of the fluid liner to the pressure fluctuations within the fluid chamber. The wear indicator is adapted to indicate the degree to which the fluid liner has been subjected to the wear and/or erosion.
