Abstract:
Provided are a metal line, a method of forming the same, and a display using the same. To increase resistance of a metal line having a multilayered structure of CuO/Cu and prevent blister formation, a plasma treatment is performed using a nitrogen-containing gas and a silicon-containing gas or using a hydrogen or argon as and the silicon-containing gas. Accordingly, a plasma treatment layer such as a SiNx or Si layer is thinly formed on the copper layer, thereby preventing an increase in resistance of the copper layer and also preventing blister formation caused by the damage of a copper oxide layer. Consequently, it is possible to improve the reliability of a copper line and thus enhance the reliability of a device.

A master cylinder of a brake is disclosed. The master cylinder includes a cylinder body connected with an oil tank and defining therein a first pressure chamber and a second pressure chamber, which are separated from each other by a partition, a first piston to perform reciprocating movements in the first pressure chamber, a second piston to perform reciprocating movements in the second pressure chamber, a first return spring to elastically support the first piston in the first pressure chamber, and a second return spring to elastically support the second piston in the second pressure chamber. The first piston has a plurality of recesses formed at one end thereof to assure smooth supply of oil during braking. The master cylinder has the effects of assuring smooth supply of brake oil during braking, and preventing fluctuation of a piston therein.

Provided is an apparatus and method for transmitting/receiving a ciphered packet in a mobile communication system. The apparatus and method perform a reset of a Packet Data Convergence Protocol (PDCP) in connection with transmission/reception of a ciphered packet including a compressed header, thereby preventing packet loss from occurring, and minimizing waste of limited transmission resources.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for minimizing data forwarding between Evolved Node Bs (ENBs) during a handover. A User Equipment (UE) sends a status report to an ENB of a source cell immediately before the handover occurs. In this manner, a target cell avoids retransmission of the RLC PDUs, which were successfully transmitted but have not yet been ACKnowledged (ACKed) by the UE, thereby minimizing the amount of data being forwarded from the ENB of the source cell to an ENB of the target cell.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for estimating the radio link status between all MS and a BS in a wireless communication system are provided, in which the MS and the BS make the same decision as to the radio link status. The method and apparatus provide a radio link status estimation procedure suitable for a Packet-Switched network system. Thus, when each of an MS and a BS detects errors in its radio link status, it notifies the other party of the poor radio link status, thereby preventing an unnecessary MS or BS operation and saving radio resources.

A Time Division Duplex (TDD) switch of a TDD wireless communication system is provided. By its unique arrangement, the TDD switch protects a receiver of the wireless system. The TDD switch includes an isolator connected to an output port of a transmitter, a first transmission line stub, connected between the isolator and a circulator, for transmitting a transmission signal received from the isolator when in a transmission mode, and for isolating a transmission path when in a reception mode, a first transmission line connected to the circulator, for isolating a reception path when in the transmission mode, and for supplying to a receiver a reception signal provided from an antenna connected to the circulator when in the reception mode, and a second transmission line stub connected between the first transmission line and an input port of the receiver in a stub form, for controlling the first transmission line to isolate the reception path when in the transmission mode, and for supplying the reception signal to the receiver when in the reception mode.

A method for resetting a MAC-hs (Medium Access Control-high speed) layer entity in a communication system using HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access). When an RLC (Radio Link Control) layer entity is reset due to occurrence a protocol error, the system resets both a MAC-hs layer entity of the RLC layer entity and its counterpart RLC, thus preventing unnecessary data transmission.

The present invention provides a core network separation structure and a signal processing method between separated elements. In particular, an SGSN is divided into an SGSN server for control operations and an S-MGW for switching packet data, and a GGSN is divided into a GGSN server for control operations and a G-MGW for switching packet data. Signaling interfaces interface between the separated elements, SGSN server and S-MGW and between the GGSN server and the G-MGW.

The present disclosure proposes a method for transmitting a buffer status report informing of the data to be transmit in uplink. The method for transmitting buffer status report of a terminal in a wireless communication system includes checking, when allocating uplink resource for new data transmission, whether first buffer status report triggered but not cancelled exists, generating, when the first buffer status report exists, uplink data including the buffer status report, checking whether second buffer status report triggered but not cancelled exist except for the buffers status report included in the uplink data, and determining whether to cancel the second buffer status report depending on whether the first buffer status report is a regular buffer status report or periodic buffer status report. With the proposed method, the terminal is capable of transmitting the padding BSR without extra cancellation operation, resulting in reduction terminal's operation complexity.

A method for reporting buffer status of a User Equipment (UE) in a mobile communication system is provided. The method for reporting buffer status of the UE in the mobile communication system includes being allocated a transmission resource from a node B; determining information to add to a certain region of a first Medium Access Control (MAC) subheader through an N-th MAC subheader using the transmission resource; generating a MAC Protocol Data Unit (PDU) by concatenating the first MAC subheader through the N-th MAC subheader with corresponding payload elements; and transmitting the generated MAC PDU.
