摘要: A focus position detection apparatus calculates a focus position of a focus lens using an image signal obtained from an image sensing element. The apparatus comprises an acquisition unit that acquires focus states for a predetermined distance range, a control unit that controls the acquisition unit to acquire focus states at first intervals and second intervals which is shorter than the first intervals, and a focus position detection unit that determines a focus position on the basis of the focus states obtained at the first or second intervals. The control unit changes whether to acquire focus states at the second intervals based on the focus states obtained at the first intervals.

摘要: A common-mode choke coil includes a magnetic core, external electrodes, first and second wires, and a magnetic top. The magnetic core includes a winding core section and first and second flange sections. The external electrodes are provided on the first and second flange sections. The first wire is directly wound around the winding core section. The second wire is wound around the outside of the first wire. The first turn of the second wire is wound while being in contact with the first turn of the first wire and the first flange section.

摘要: A wire-wound type chip coil can take various inductance values while maintaining its outer dimension at a specified fixed value. A chip coil is formed by winding at least two conductive wires regularly in a single layer around a core made of a magnetic material and firmly connecting both ends of each conductive wire to terminal electrodes disposed on respective flanges of the core. This makes it possible to obtain a great current capacity. Furthermore, the inductance decreases because of an increase in the magnetic path length. A great number of different inductance values can be easily obtained by properly selecting parameters including the number of substantially parallel conductive wires, the diameter of each conductive wire, and the number of turns.

摘要: A wire-wound coil includes a core, electrodes, and a wire. The core includes a winding core for winding the wire and a pair of flanges. A depression is formed on the inner lower portion of each of the flanges. The depression has a curved surface that curves inward in a direction from the inner wall to the outer wall of the flange and smoothly connects with the peripheral wall of the winding core. The end portions of the wire are extended along the curved surfaces and the tips of the end portions are bonded to the electrodes. The end portions are in an unstressed state and prevent the generation of tension caused by the contraction of a coating agent.

摘要: An object of this invention is to provide an autofocus apparatus and method, and an image sensing apparatus capable of shortening the AF time without decreasing the AF precision even when the total number of acquired AF evaluation signals is large. To achieve this object, whether previous and current photographing conditions satisfy a predetermined requirement in photographing is determined. When the previous and current photographing conditions are determined to satisfy the predetermined requirement, a focusing state only near an in-focus position in previous photographing is detected. When the previous and current photographing conditions are determined not to satisfy the predetermined requirement, a focusing state in the object region is detected. An in-focus position is determined by detecting the focusing state, and the in-focus position and photographing conditions are stored for the next photographing. A focus lens is moved to the in-focus position to photograph.
