Abstract:
A scheduler for use in a computer network system which provides an order 1 level of complexity, while maintaining proportional fairness and a constant normalized worst-case fair index to create short term and long-term fairness among backlogged flows. The scheduler utilizes an intra-class scheduling algorithm to obtain the benefits of a round robin scheduler and an inter-class scheduling algorithm to obtain the benefits of timestamp based scheduler.
Abstract:
Receptor recognition factors exist that recognizes the specific cell receptor to which a specific ligand has been bound, and that may thereby signal and/or initiate the binding of the transcription factor to the DNA site. The receptor recognition factor is in one instance, a part of a transcription factor, and also may interact with other transcription factors to cause them to activate and travel to the nucleus for DNA binding. The receptor recognition factor appears to be second-messenger-independent in its activity, as overt perturbations in second messenger concentrations are of no effect. The concept of the invention is illustrated by the results of studies conducted with interferon (IFN)-stimulated gene transcription, and particularly, the activation caused by both IFN&agr; and IFN&ggr;. Specific DNA and amino acid sequences for various human and murine receptor recognition factors are provided, as are polypeptide fragments of two of the ISGF-3 genes, and antibodies have also been prepared and tested. The polypeptides confirm direct involvement of tyrosine kinase in intracellular message transmission. Numerous diagnostic and therapeutic materials and utilities are also disclosed.

Abstract:
The present invention provides an energy management method of a multi-type battery energy storage power station considering charge and discharge rates, that includes: reading related data of the battery energy storage power station; calculating charge or discharge rate characteristic values of battery energy storage machine sets; calculating initial power command values of the battery energy storage machine sets; judging whether the initial power command values of the battery energy storage machine sets exceed the maximum allowable charge or discharge power of the machine sets in real time, if more than, online correcting and re-calculating the initial power command values of the battery energy storage machine sets; otherwise, setting the initial power command values of the energy storage machine sets as the power command values thereof; and summarizing the power command values of the battery energy storage machine sets, and outputting the same. With the reasonable control of the charge and discharge rates of the energy storage machines sets as target, the energy management method of the present invention is used for carrying out power coordinated control and energy management in the energy storage power station, and considering the service lives of energy storage batteries in the control strategy to achieve the functions of avoiding abuse of the energy storage batteries as much as possible, delaying battery aging and the like.
Abstract:
A method for programming a measuring program into a computing device. The computing device selects a partial drawing from a panoramic drawing of a product using a frame, and marks the frame in the panoramic drawing. The computing device sets a pattern of a report and shows the partial drawing and the panoramic drawing in the report. The computing device adjusts a size of the panoramic drawing and the size of the panoramic drawing in the report until the panoramic drawing does not superpose on the partial drawing in the report. The computing device generate a measuring program which is capable of executing the procedure mentioned above.
Abstract:
A method for processing dimension numbers using a computing device, a first template of a dimension frame and a plurality of second templates of dimension numbers 0-9, and a numerical text data of each second template are established. A plurality of block objects are obtained by grouping all discontinuous line segments in the engineering drawing. All frame objects in the engineering drawing are obtained by matching each of the block objects with the first template. One or more remainder objects in each bounding box are obtained, and grouped to obtain one or more number objects in each of the frame objects. A matched second template of each of the number objects is obtained by matching each of the number objects with each of the second templates. The number objects in each of the frame objects are replaced by corresponding numerical text data.
Abstract:
A method for managing function modules using a computing device. The computing device loads the function modules according to a serial number corresponding to a filename and a directory path of each function module. The computing device obtains register commands from an interface of each function module and saves the register commands into a command library. The computing device searches for a register command in the command library when the register command is inputted by an input device connected to the computing device, and executes the searched register command of the function module.
Abstract:
A method for checking a boundary line graph using a computing device. The computing device adds a segment line between two adjacent endpoints of the boundary line graph, if the two adjacent endpoints are not connected using the segment line. The computing device removes the segment lines of the endpoints corresponding to intersection points, if the number of the intersection points is not equal to the number of the endpoints. The computing device changes label characters of the endpoints to be arranged in a predetermined order, if an order of the label characters of the endpoints is not a predetermined order according to the boundary line vector.
