The on-line retailer competes with a bricks-and-mortar store in the sale of the identified products. A dedicated area is provided within the store. In this area, the store provides, for each identified product, both: 1) a physical purchasable unit of the product, and 2) descriptive information about the product. The descriptive information includes: 1) an identification of the product, 2) an identification of the on-line retailer, 3) a price at which the product is offered on-line by the on-line retailer, and 4) a price at which the product is offered at the store. The customer can use the descriptive information to confirm the prices, and can then purchase a physical unit of the product, and can immediately take the unit from the store without having to wait for, and pay for, shipment.

摘要： A collapsible bed frame that supports a box spring includes side rails and telescoping cross rails. A first hinge connects upper and lower portions of a first side rail that are each at least 35 inches long. A first portion of a cross rail telescopes inside a second portion of the cross rail, and the first portion is connected to the first hinge. Upper and lower portions of a second side rail are connected by a second hinge that includes a slot. The second portion of the cross rail has a tongue that fits into the slot on the second hinge. The side rails also have support legs with flanges that extend above the side rails when the support legs are extended. The first and second hinges also include flanges that together with the support leg flanges prevent the box spring from sliding towards either side of the bed frame.

摘要： Removable massage modules provide a mattress with a massage function. The mattress is compressed and shipped in a packing box with the massage modules separate from the mattress. The end customer then inserts the massage modules. The mattress has a bottom foam layer with cavities whose walls are perpendicular to the outer surface of the foam layer. Each massage module includes a massage motor encased in molded foam. The molded foam is attached to a foam section with cylindrical holes that pass from an outer side to the molded foam and allow hot air to escape the massage motor. The top and bottom sides of each massage module have the shape formed by the walls of the cavities. The massage modules are connected by power cords to a module controller that receives RF signals from a remote control device. The massage modules can also be inserted into a mattress topper.

摘要： An infant mattress fits safely in a crib without any gap between the mattress and the walls or bars of the crib. A ring of memory foam surrounds the supporting foam layers of the mattress and forms a snug fit with the vertical bars of the crib regardless of whether the dimensions of the particular crib or mattress vary from their standard sizes. The memory foam ring intentionally renders the infant mattress somewhat larger than the inner dimensions of the crib. The ring compresses when the mattress is placed in a crib in which opposing side bars are separated by a distance that is smaller than the mattress width. The ring is formed by pouring foam into a rectangular mold around the supporting foam layers. Where the mattress includes pocket coils on the supporting foam layers, the ring of memory foam conforms to the outer row of pocket coils.

The mattress add-on has a flame-resistant covering that fits tightly over the sides of the existing mattress and also has flaps to cover the bottom of the existing mattress. The mattress add-on in combination with the flame-resistant covering is an inexpensive means of providing both more comfort as well as fire protection safety to consumers who retain their existing mattresses. The mattress add-on does not slip on the existing mattress because it is held tightly in place by tightening the flame-resistant covering using straps across the bottom of the existing mattress. The mattress add-on is customized to a user's physical profile by using zones of foam having different densities. In addition, the mattress add-on may include metal coils or air chambers.

The display bag (12) can then be easily stacked for storage or displayed on a retail store's selling floor, thus providing easily visible display information (34) and providing protection for the display panel (32) from in-store handling, as well as consumer access to the product (44) for inspection. Also disclosed is a method of transporting, storing and displaying consumer products (44) by means of the system (10).
