    Abstract: User equipment (UE) includes processing circuitry, where to configure the UE for New Radio (NR) communications in an unlicensed spectrum, the processing circuitry is to decode a first configuration message received from a base station, the first configuration message including a channel quality indicator (CQI) table indication identifying a CQI table. A second configuration message is decoded, the second configuration message received separately from the first configuration message and including a modulation and coding scheme (MCS) table indication identifying an MCS table. DCI received via a PDCCH is decoded, the DCI providing a DL grant and an MCS index in the MCS table. DL information received via a PDSCH is decoded using modulation order and target code rate corresponding to the MCS index in the MCS table.

    Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, methods, and computer-readable media are provided for a user equipment (UE) device that includes one or more processors configured to identify a search space for physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidates by: determining whether the search space is a group common search space or a UE specific search space; determining a number of PDCCH candidates per aggregation level (AL); determining a PDCCH monitoring periodicity and a PDCCH monitoring offset for the search space, each including a plurality of slots; determining monitored slots in the monitoring periodicity; determining, for each monitored slot, a monitoring pattern including a set of selected symbols; and determining a set of monitoring occasions corresponding to the set of selected symbols in each monitored slot of each monitoring periodicity. The one or more processors are configured to decode downlink signals received in the set of monitoring occasions to search for PDCCH information for the UE.

    Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for communicating in a wireless network based on a prioritization status. User equipment can receive a first signal that includes an indicator. The UE can determine a prioritization status for a second signal based on the prioritization indicator. The UE can communicate, with one or more radio access networks (RANs) of a network, the second signal, where the timeline of the second signal can be out of order respective of other signals communicated by the UE and the wireless network. The second signal can include data transmitted by an ultra-reliable low latency communication (URLLC) service. The UE can communicate the second signal out of order with respect to one or more additional signals. The UE, based on the indicator, can communicate hybrid automated repeat request (HARQ) feedback before a HARQ feedback timeline of a non-urgent transmission.

    Abstract: Systems, devices, and techniques for transmit power control (TPC) in wireless communication systems are described. A described technique performed by a user equipment (UE) includes signaling that enables transmit power control (TPC) accumulation; receiving, by the UE, downlink control information (DCI) messages corresponding to respective physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission occasions; determining, by the UE, power control adjustment states for the PUSCH transmission occasions; and transmitting, by the UE, in the PUSCH transmission occasions in accordance with the power control adjustment states. Determining the power control adjustment states can include selectively applying TPC accumulation to one or more of the power control adjustment states based on a determination that at least one of the PUSCH transmission occasions is out-of-order based on an arrival ordering of the DCI messages.

    Abstract: Technology is disclosed for a user equipment (UE) operable for wake-up signal (WUS) communication in a fifth generation (5G) new radio (NR) network. The UE can be configured to: identify a resource set for a WUS with a repetition level, wherein: the resource set for the WUS includes a mapping of the WUS that associates the WUS with one or more physical resource blocks and one or more orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, and the repetition level identifies a number of base sequences for the WUS in the resource set; and switch to a network access mode (NAM) from a power saving mode (PSM) based on a detection of the WUS in the resource set.
