    摘要： A method for well construction and completion is disclosed. Generally the method comprises the steps of 1) drilling through an injection zone, 2) positioning an extendable permeable element on the casing capable of stopping formation material from entering the well bore, 3) positioning the casing such that the extendable elements are aligned with the injection zone, 4) extending the member such that they come into direct contact with the injection zone formation, 5) running tubing/completion equipment, and 6) begin injecting the desired fluids into the well. Thus eliminating the need to perforate and gravel pack the well while improving reliability of the injection well completion.

    摘要： The present invention relates to a method of labelling soya varieties as to their suitability as a subsequent crop to maize when weed control in that maize crop has been carried out using HPPD inhibitor herbicides, wherein: a) in a first step, a reference soya variety is selected which, when grown as a subsequent crop to maize wherein weed control has been carried out using HPPD inhibitor herbicides, exhibits a visually determinable phytotoxicity with respect to those HPPD inhibitor herbicides; b) in a second step, the phytotoxicity of soya varieties when grown as a subsequent crop to maize wherein weed control has been carried out using HPPD inhibitor herbicides is determined in relation to that reference soya variety in the form of a factor; and c) in a third step, said soya varieties are labelled with said factor.

    摘要： A computer system for use in reducing overall pipeline inventory within a distribution network that includes a central warehouse that is: (1) adjacent a transportation hub; and (2) configured to store sufficient component parts to provide a regular stream of parts to each of a plurality of manufacturing facilities. The computer system is preferably configured for coordinating the transportation of a regular stream of parts to each of the manufacturing facilities by transporting component parts from the central warehouse to the manufacturing facilities primarily via an expedited delivery service performed using the transportation hub. The expedited delivery service may include, for example, guaranteed delivery within one or two days. This reduces the overall pipeline and warehouse inventory within the distribution network by reducing the average transit time for each part, and by reducing the amount of safety stock that is needed to support the operations of the manufacturing facilities.

    摘要： A deployable monitoring apparatus is provided comprising an ovate housing with a video capturing device and a spatial orientation device operably engaged therewith. The housing has a base and an opposed end disposed along an axis, with a center of gravity disposed about the base so as to be self-righting such that the opposed end extends substantially upwardly from the base. The video capturing device is configured to capture video data of a scene external to the housing, and the spatial orientation device is configured to associate a spatial orientation with the video data. The video data and spatial orientation can be transmitted by a transceiver module to a disposed remotely station, so as to provide a spatially-oriented remote visual depiction of the scene. The housing may also include other devices such as, for example, a deterrent device or a distraction device associated therewith. An associated method is also provided.
